I also have something I would like to say to these workers, you guys may not remember me, but I was part of that family that was yelling at you guys over a 14$ tip. All I have to say I am deeply sorry for the stress we had put upon you at that moment and I’m very sorry as well for how my family treated you guys, honestly me myself felt bad, and if I could I would’ve given you guys more than just five stars. Also I just wanna say that there is nothing wrong with ur service, food or how you guys do ur business, at the end of the day it is ur restaurant and how you want it to do it. If we disrespected you guys in anyway I am very sorry myself and for you guys because honestly, no one should ever have that experience with any family. You guys are honestly the best and ur service is just fine. And please don’t let that ruin ur day or ur experience working there, and please keep everything the same way. My family was just being crazy at that time. Love you people so much and Ty for ur hard work.
The chicken had an unpleasant, slightly fishy taste that made it hard to enjoy the dish. The refried beans tasted canned, and the soup was poorly prepared, the vegetables were unevenly and carelessly cut, and it appeared to use the same recycled chicken from the enchiladas. The fried ice cream was clearly pre-made, and instead of real whipped cream, they used a cheap non-dairy topping, which was disappointing.
The only highlight of the meal was the skillet queso fundido, which actually tasted like it was made with real cheese and had good flavor.
Overall, the food felt rushed, low quality, and not reflective of authentic Mexican cuisine. I really wanted to like this place, but it fell far short of expectations.
I walked in to pick up my order, and the girl at the desk looked completely lost. She needed help to find my order, then my order wasn’t ready, so I took a seat in the lobby. I watched the chaos around me as the hostess continued to be overwhelmed while I was there. It was around 7pm on a Sunday, so it wasn’t super busy, but I could see that some of the staff were overwhelmed. It didn’t affect my feelings about the place, but the chaos was noticeable.
So I get home with the order… I asked for NO avocado in the chimichanga rolls, and they were loaded with avocado. I don’t like avocado, so that dish was completely ruined for me. The mole sauce was overkill for me on the enchiladas. They were just drenched and I wasn’t a fan. The chips and salsa were good.
Disappointing experience this time, but I would give them a second chance. I would definitely check my food before leaving if ordering to go again!
