We just ordered some shrimp tacos and fajitas 30 minutes ago for delivery, and today’s meal was just so unbelievably amazing for both of us I had to leave a review right now whoever is cooking today gets a 11/10. The food is always great when I eat here and it’s one of my favorite go-to’s thanks ya’ll!

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING, starting with the food quality. Please read: this is NOT a mexican restaurant, hostess said “she didn’t speak Spanish” while her face clearly shows her origins, seriously? She was very very rude from the beginning. We decided to still try the food and it was not worth it!!! Awful, gave us a stomachache as soon as we ate, what a disgraceful experience. It’s literally the WORST mexican restaurant I have ever been to in my entire life. do not bother to eat here.

Went to this restaurant for a celebration of my colleague getting a new job in Florida. He loves this restaurant. I thought it was tolerably tasty, but nothing blew me out of the water. I got the burrito selection from the vegetarian menu. It was covered in a slick cheese layer and had a tasty but bland flavor. Good place to go if you like non-spicy Mexican food. Nice affordable place for a group outing.

My husband and I regularly have weekly lunch dates at La Fiesta. It’s one of our favorite Mexican restaurants in town. My husband loves the flautas plate for $9.99. A great deal for a lot of food. We could probably share it. It comes with 2 chicken and 2 beef. Both meats are very tender. I enjoy the chimichanga with cheese sauce on the side as well as the shrimp quesadilla, which comes with veggies like zucchini and mushrooms. There’s a good amount of parking, and they have a patio for outdoor seating during this time of Covid. They also have spaced-out indoor seating. All the employees wear masks and are super friendly. My only complaint is that they don’t serve horchata. I highly recommend them regardless.

Went to La Fiesta for a quick dinner around 8pm. We were seated immediately. The place was busy and still can accommodate more. Food was tasty and not over seasoned. Spicy level was good depending on the dish. My brisket tacos were not spicy enough even though I ordered habanero sauce. While the spicy burrito was over spicy . Recommend a pitcher of house margarita, frozen, to share. It is well blended and great balance of tequila, triple sec, and lime juice.

Me and my girlfriend come here often and consistently have a good meal. I think their workers are very nice and their portions are reasonable sized for the price. I got the arroz Loco and it’s so good. The only downside is sometimes they play pop or rap music, which kinda violates your expectations of cultural music at a Mexican restaurant.

I got the supreme burrito. Decent food, kinda pricy but nothing exceptional. The server was very sweet though!

Your friendly neighborhood Mexican joint.
La Fiesta has all the aspects of your favorite local Mexican restaurant. Free chips and salsa at your table, tall acrylic cups for water, and wonderful hospitality.
The service was quick and friendly and the everything we ordered was delicious! Their black beans are the kind that are almost like a smooth dip with melted cheese on top.
We wanted to sit outside despite the cold and were please to see that all the staff wore masks during the entire time. All the inside tables were separated out to provide adequate distance between patrons during COVID.
Oh. The other great aspect of La Fiesta are their drink specials! They have several for game days and happy hour throughout the week! Would recommend

The Mexican cuisine at La Fiesta is sub-par, particularly compared to Mexican meals elsewhere. The food is exceptionally bland, consists of cheap ground beef. My son’s meal was inedible..deep fried outer with the grossest chicken meat, if it could even be identified as chicken. The meals consists of no lettuce, guacamole, or tomatoes, and to get these, unlike other Mexican places, you have to pay extra! 1.50 for a small bowl of iceberg; and clearly, the restaurant is trying to keep food prices lowered by charging exorbitant prices for tea and water…seven dollars of the bill for tea and a sprite. I wonder that Athens’ customers are satisfied with the cutting corners, sensationally bland food, and exorbitant prices for a simple tea and sprite. I don’t think the cook knows anything about Mexican cuisine, and the owners are clearly cutting a lot of corners that other great Mexican restaurants do not. Two meals and drinks..$37.00. Only thing positive is the 98 food score. Servers weren’t particularly gracious either. I am sorry Athens customers don’t have a better choice. Visit Los Cerritos in Cornelia, owned by owners who understand Mexican cuisine, and you will experience excellent Mexican food and friendly service, and you will never eat here again.
