This is that small family run bakery, that is hands down the best bakery to sell pan dulce in POLK COUNTY, FLORIDA! Fresh baked bread on the daily, as well as fresh made coffee right in the front window. I recommend getting one or three of their conchas, dipped right into the coffee & enjoy!

Came here once before and loved the conchas. Came another day when I was in the area. It was 11am and the place was closed. I wanted my concha fix. I would have given them 5 stars if they had accurate operating hours or if they were out to lunch, a sign clearly stating when they’ll be back. I waited 30 mins and no one arrived to open up.

I have stopped before to get pastries, especially for Mother’s Day for the last 3 years. i had always loved the pastries/ conchas and service. Yesterday i went in between 10:30 and 11:00 as my family loves conchas and pastries for a brunch we do every year. The lady that was there must have been in a bad mood. I did not even get a hello as i entered, or how can i help you. I know to get a tray to grab the pastries as i was getting 20. I asked her about prices, and she reluctantly asked which ones sort of gave me some prices. Then, when i went to pay, she kept on spilling the sugar over me, and you would have thought that after the first time, she would have been more careful, but it continued. This was the worst service ever. I even told my family that i was not going back. i did not say anything to her because i did not want to ruin my and my family’s celebration because it was going to get me in a bad mood. Not to mention, a few of the pastries were stale. I waited until today to put in my review. I always like yo support small businesses, but this time, it had left me a bad taste in my mouth. Always had excellent service. The lady should have stayed home if she was not up to provide services. Thank you for all the other times the service and product were great! I hope this review helps bring this back. As for me, i would spend my money somewhere else.

The best pàn (mexican sweet bread) around!! I moved to the area about 4 years ago but my now husband grew up in Dundee/Haines City/Davenport area. When I first got here he took me to this bakery and it has been my go to! A great small local business that survived the pandemic and still has great quality. My favorites are conchas and little pigs! So yummy!
