Came here once before and loved the conchas. Came another day when I was in the area. It was 11am and the place was closed. I wanted my concha fix. I would have given them 5 stars if they had accurate operating hours or if they were out to lunch, a sign clearly stating when they’ll be back. I waited 30 mins and no one arrived to open up.

The best pàn (mexican sweet bread) around!! I moved to the area about 4 years ago but my now husband grew up in Dundee/Haines City/Davenport area. When I first got here he took me to this bakery and it has been my go to! A great small local business that survived the pandemic and still has great quality. My favorites are conchas and little pigs! So yummy!

I wanted to love this place, i love supporting small businesses and when my now 15 year old daughter expressed to me that she wanted a tres leche cake for her birthday i found La Fe bakery and called in right away, i ordered 1 day before her birthday to be ready the next day around 5 p.m and i even worked our birthday plans around picking up the cake as this would be the perfect ending to her special day, the man who took my cake order was very nice and accommodating but to my surprise when i arrived at the bakery to pick up the cake with the birthday girl there was no cake even though my order was written down on an order ticket with my daughters name and all, i was told basically there was no communication about orders made. Im extremely disappointed and i feel that this is completely unprofessional, my daughter was upset and we were out of time to get a nice tres leche cake that she wanted.
