I was quite let down by my recent delivery order from La Famosa Estrella. While their salsas still managed to shine, the carne asada burrito was a major letdown. The portion size was underwhelming, and the meat was scarce, leaving the burrito tasting bland and underwhelming. To make matters worse, the pictures on the delivery apps were incredibly misleading. The actual food bore little resemblance to the appetizing images, further dampening the overall experience.

For years I’ve been thinking that you cannot make a Torta better than the way these guys do it. The chicken and asada here are top of the line as well. Beans and rice are absolutely the best in Pasadena easily. Salsa is the smokiest earthiest stuff ever. Simply put this place is a superior eatery. Don’t let the nondescript facade fool you. Get in there and order some food.
