This was definitely a first, if the expectation was authentic Mexico food, I do not recommend. I have eaten Mexican food in about 7 different states and this is the first time I have ever gotten white rice, when asking for rice and beans. I ask for queso fresco on my tacos and they gave me parmesan cheese.

So first off , I would like to shout out to the owners and La familia as whole, for being amazing . They helped me out with an order that was delivered to me incorrectly. I called them and asked them if there is anything they can do? That same instant , they told me they will remake my order and whenever I’m free to pick up , that would be fine with them. Zero charge! I do believe their is always room for improvement . However, They did great. My wife and I will continue to support our local food truck and highly recommend thier food.

Stopped by here for dinner and everything was really nice. The place has a relaxed, casual vibe and felt very welcoming. Service was quick, and the food came out hot and fresh. I tried a couple of vegetarian options from the menu — they actually have a pretty good variety, not just a token salad or two. The veggie stir-fry and grilled tofu plate were both flavorful and well-seasoned, which was a nice surprise. It’s also easy to make adjustments if you have dietary restrictions — the staff were open to modifying dishes and double-checked ingredients without making it a hassle.
It’s a good spot for families too — there’s a kids’ menu with simple, affordable options and the atmosphere is comfortable enough for both adults and kids. The place is wheelchair accessible, with a flat entrance and plenty of space between tables, so it’s easy to move around without feeling crowded. Overall, just a well-thought-out restaurant that manages to be both casual and considerate of everyone’s needs. I’d definitely come back again.

I’ve wanted to try the food here for a long time. I ordered through DoorDash. I wanted to try a little bit of everything. I ordered the Chips and Queso, Barbacoa Taco Combo plate, Campechano (Asada & Chorizo mix) Papas Locas and Flan.
The order arrived fairly quickly and the food was nice and hot. My absolute favorite is the papas Locas. They are seasoned well and so very good. This was a family hit and it was gone before I could blink. The queso dip is very good as well. The Barbacoa tacos are delicious and the meat is tender. The food is absolutely delicious. That’s the only way to say it. I know that we will definitely come back here to eat and try some of the other menu items.
I would highly recommend coming to eat here or delivery.

We ordered from here for a second time. We got the mixed fajitas, carnitas burrito, guacamole and Campechano papas locas. The food was even better the second time. We will be back.

Absolutely AMAZING!!! I have been wanting to stop by here for over 8 months now. I am so glad i was on Hope Mills road today and remembered that I wanted to stop by here. The man inside who took my order, I should have got his name, i think he is the owner, He was super sweet and charming. There was a line behind me and he took the time to explain some dishes to me. I lived in San Antonio Texas for five years and hands down this is the best place I’ve ever eaten serving this type of cuisine. Thank you so much La Familia. for feeding My family tonight. You ROCK

I am here for the lack of service there of.I arrived exactly at 9:58PM.They close at 10PM,I’d assume is the customer comes first? And not second because customer service is crucial and goes with par to par with food quality.I was given the cold turkey shoulder and wasn’t taken care of.I am from California Los Angeles passing through and was craving tacos with my family and what a disappointment.I am reading the comments and sure seems I didn’t miss anything to die for.

Tried La familia today for the first time and let me start off by saying the food was delicious! Ordered a Torta ,4 tacos, and a fresh pineapple drink. Meats were flavorful and well cooked. Customer service was great! Will definitely be my new go to “taqueria” 5/5

Initial impression: on the expensive side. They don’t sell drinks from the truck, you need to go into the store right beside the food truck to get a drink. They said “it will be ready in 15 minutes” and gave me a pager. This food truck is not efficient and took longer than expected to get my food.
Food: some comments made while eating are “the tacos are breaking already” “they are not bad” “yeah I guess it’s okay for the price” “red sauce not spicy” “good flavor overall”
Overall: not as authentic as the other reviewers stated, but still good and I can see myself coming back if I am around the area.
Also I saw the cashier hand a customer a whole avocado, which I thought was funny.

First time here and we will be back! Enjoyed the carne asada and carnitas tacos. Elote was also delicious. The staff there are super friendly and you can have a seat inside to enjoy your meal. Highly recommend!
