I was on a walk not expecting to buy dinner when I could smell something so fragrant and aromatic it made me instantly hungry. I walked into La Familia and knew it was the source. I had the chili verde plate. I was very impressed, as I live in Wichita Kansas and don’t always have access to wonderful Mexican cuisine. I give La Familia Comida 10/10 and highly recommend.

All of their food is amazing and of excellent quality. I highly recommend their tacos. They’re huge, not greasy and made with large tortillas. Their caldos are great too. They have small indoor sitting area and large patio. I like to order my food for pick up.

I loooved their Menudo! Got a large one. Estaba delicioso!!! The corn tortillas were hand made, fresh and tasted so good. I got café de olla, and it tasted just like my gramas house en Chihuahua. The service was great, with warm personalities! I wish I would have known this spot was here prior. I’d recommend if your looking for a menudo spot.

Hole in the wall, family joint, no thrills mexi food. Decent tacos and burritos, chilaquiles. I like that they grill burrito and always give guacamole with burritos and chips!! Sopes and empanadas made fresh and fish tacos are grilled fish!
Only bad thing for me is that Salsa needs work…it is hit or miss, some days thick or can be watery…spice level also inconsistent. But guacamole to make it whole. Always make a visit every few weeks to satisfy my mexi cravings and always friendly good service. Both indoor and outdoor seating available.

Love patio sitting. I can get salad in place of rice and beans. Delicious handmade corn tortillas. Favorite dish: Carnitas advocado omelet with salad and corn tortillas.

Would give a 0 star if I could. I ordered shrimp fajitas from here through postmates. The shrimp was terribly rancid, it was rotten, tasted like ammonia. Someone isn’t doing quality checks on their supplies. I hope i dont get sick
