I had the pleasure of hosting our memory cafe at this amazing place this past week. The cafe is a luncheon that is given for caregivers and their loved ones with dementia. The guests had a great time. The food was delicious, the pasta and salads, the basket of bread and the entrees. Nicole, the manager was the hostest with the most est. She and her staff went above and beyond to make sure our guests felt at home. La Famiglia puts the H in hospitality. The environment was so cozy and inviting, it felt like you were at a family’s home. I definitely will return with more families and with my own family. Thank you La Famiglia for a beautiful dining experience.

My daughter and I enjoyed dinner here. we both had the chicken parmigiana with penne which is our favorite meal. It was absolutely delicious, the chicken was paper thin the way we like it, the penne was cooked perfectly. The service was very attentive and prompt.

This was a lucky find. We were in Glen Cove for a wedding and happened upon this gem. We had a meatball sandwich, which was very good, and salmon panini, which was amazing. And then we topped it off with a delicious chocolate mousse pie.

Excellent food; portions were generous. Came by around 7 on a weekday and it was pretty empty so the service was attentive- outdoor seating provides a nice view of the town. Prices fair for what you get.

Truly a neighborhood gem. The owner Paul and the manager Nicole are wonderful. The food is hone style Italian and very good. They’ll make you anything they have ingredients for even if it’s not on the menu. Bon appétito!

Decent food marred by terrible service. First experience happened when I went there with a guest and the waiters brought over our food spilling the pasta sauce the entire walk to the table and then began spilling the sauce all over my guest as they handed the plate over. Instead of offering any compensatory food, coupon, or even help cleaning, they just left.
