We tried this restaurant for the first time. It’s in Destin and can get quite busy, so I definitely recommend making a reservation. I made one and even though other people were waiting we went straight to a table. Nice size portions and vast menu. Nothing fancy, and quick service. Seemed very loud so conversation can be challenging. That said, it was on overall good experience. I recommend a visit.

I wouldn’t consider myself an Italian food connoisseur, but I do enjoy it. That being said, the food was just okay. did not like the tomato sauce on the lasagna, but others in my party thought it was very good. I did enjoy the Alfredo and gnocchi. Those who had pizza said it was very good. The menu was limited and though the portions were fairly large, it was very over priced.

It’s a truly Italian restaurant. They offer homemade pasta. The sangria was perfect. The service was very special, always attentive to our needs. Each pasta came freshly made, hot, and delicious. If you love Italian food. I highly recommend La Famiglia. All their dishes are made fresh daily. They make all their sauces for all dishes from scratch. If you want fresh made pasta, it is also available with any dish. So many different choices for good Italian wines. The owners are all from Italy and have been in business here since 2009.

We came here for dinner last night and really enjoyed our meals and the live music. It was my son’s birthday and they sang for him too! Ordered the kids cheese pizza, bruschetta and the taste dello chef. You can tell it’s a small family run business which gives you that homey feeling. Thank you for a great meal!

Let me start by saying the atmosphere is this restaurant is amazing! Made a reservation and was seated promptly. Then we were ignored for about 10 minutes. Then water came for our glasses. Asked for a wine menu and recommendation, and it was fantastic! Placed our order and waited a good bit for our food ….it’s clearly homemade, so that was ok. What bothered us is we really would have enjoyed some bread to go with our drinks while we waited. Once our food arrived, it was placed on our table and as she was walking away, we had to ask for silverware…..which received an eye roll! It was not our waitress, who was lovely. We all thought our food, chicken parm, fettuccine bolognese, fettuccine Alfredo, and spaghetti with marinara, was all very good. Never received an offer of drink refills, even on the wine, which is strange! After receiving the first bread basket with the delivery of food, a second was never brought. The issue that will keep us from returning unfortunately is this….a 20% gratuity is automatically applied to parties of FOUR or more!! We were four people. This is ridiculous! We were forced to pay 20% for subpar service!

First visit of many more to come. Francesca was very inviting as we walked in the door. We talked a lot about her move to US and our visit to Italy. Cody waited on us and was very friendly and informative. We started off with a pepperoni pizza which was one of the best pizzas I ever eaten. The crust was perfection. I also ordered the eggplant parmigiana, which was excellent. I liked that you could really taste the eggplant and it had the perfect amount of cheese and sauce. Wish we had found this place long ago. We will head back for a wine tasting experience this weekend. I highly recommend this place for authentic Italian with a friendly wait staff and owner.

We had a lovely night. The owner served and took our order, we had carbonara gnocchi, and calazone. The fresh bread and olive oil to start was very good. The Greek salad was perfect. The basil pesto gnocchi was wonderful. We finished with chocolate cake. The entire meal was wonderful, service is a bit slow but they are very busy and a good meal takes awhile to enjoy. The owner couldn’t have been more welcoming.

In town for vacation with family and I decided to celebrate my birthday with some recommended pasta! Each dish is made to order by the lovely chef in the back, so you will have to wait a bit. However, every single dish we had was well worth the wait! The sauces were nuanced and flavorful, and the seafood was fresh. We would highly recommend getting the handmade pasta. Outrageously good. The staff was also very attentive and lovely. Thanks for an amazing ending to my birthday!

This was our second visit. Our first was three weeks ago. The first visit was excellent. The lasagna was superb.
Tonight was their last night in their current location. I ordered spaghetti and meat balls with homemade pasta. What I got was store-bought linguini with pasta sauce that tasted like ketchup and two Wal-Mart meatballs. Absolutely disgusting.
They are moving to a location about twenty miles away. I guess they decided to screw over their last customers at this location knowing that they probably won’t make the drive to their new location. I know I won’t.
