My family dines here quite a bit and La Estrelita does not disappoint. We’ve tried most of the items from the menu and have never been let down. The service stays busy and does a nice job attending to our dining needs. Be prepared for the invite longer wait times during busy hours. They are popular!

We came in here on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. As a reviewer, I’m always trying to find something new to try. The reviews were good so we took a chance. Upon entry, I liked the vibe. I wish we’d sat on the patio on such a nice day but we were seated in the dinning area. Our server was not attentive, seemed rushed (even though it was around 2pm so between lunch and dinner rush) and the place wasn’t overly packed so I’m unsure why she acted like she had much more important things to do than her job. The chips and salsa were very good. Salsa is flavorful with a tiny kick. I wish the chips were warm, it would make them perfect. Our service was a little slow. I got a Gina-Rita, margarita made with Blue Moon, and it was delicious. I also ordered the Grilled Chicken lime tacos with beans. My hubby got the Mayan enchiladas. He said his was delicious. Mine was on the cold side. Although I did love the corn tortillas. Overall mine could’ve been more flavorful and they gave me super small pieces of Avocado. My hubby was disappointed that they didn’t have Horchata. I was surprised they didn’t. I would’ve given this review more stars if we’d had better service and if mine wasn’t cold.

We came here on a whim and ended up eating at the bar. Valerie and Fatima were behind the bar and made the bar atmosphere really cute! Super attentive and engaging. Food and drinks were amazing and we both agreed we’ll definitely be back. I discussed the restaurant at work the next day some of my coworkers are familiar with the place and also agreed the food and vibes are great.

First, I gotta say how incredible the food was. 10/10. I could go on about it for hours. Fun little vibe inside. It was really busy when we went, so the wait time was kinda long to get our food and drinks, and even our drink order, for that matter. It’s a cool place to grab spectacular food our server was exceptional. We had to wait for a table for about 35 minutes, but after we took our bites, we understood why.

Such a great Mexican restaurant! The enchiladas with jalapeño cream sauce is amazing. Service is always friendly, plenty of station inside and on their outdoor patio. Great margaritas, Mexican beers, and cocktails. Park in the back and avoid trying to park on Main Street. Also, ask about the history and family behind the restaurant, cool story.

I hadn’t been here in years. The food was good, the atmosphere was how I remembered – everything was great except the waitress. Never came back for refills after she took my money that was enough to cover the tab *and* charged my friend’s card that, giving herself an almost $20 tip. Didn’t take the time to bring it up with the manager, but kind of disgusted by what happened. She definitely didn’t provide good enough service for a $20 tip. I won’t be coming back if the waitress is that dishonest. Disappointed.

Food is delicious! Do wish the seating at the front wasn’t so close to the front doors – the cold air can be chilly and makes your food cool off really fast.

We use to go weekly, then moved and long for a Mexican restaurant near us as good as La Estrellita.
Went back today and it is still just as good as we remembered and reasonably priced. Had most items on the menu and enjoy them all.
Today, I had the cheese and onion enchilada, crispy relleno with veg green chili and my hungry husband had the tostada, taco, crispy relleno, burrito and taco plate. Chips, guacamole, salsas taste fresh and are a great accompaniment to every meal. We were stuffed and skipped dessert, but the flan was a favorite.
