I tried a few different pastries and they were all so good! The cherry turnover was flakey and had the perfect balance of flavor. The cheesecake was honestly the best one I’ve had in a long time, especially with the fresh fruit on top.
Definitely check this spot out if you have a sweet tooth.

Wonderful bakery! It was our first time there and the staff was very helpful! I had a guava cream cheese filled pastry that was excellent. My husband had the apple fritter which he loved. It was also cozy warm inside with all the ovens running which was great because the temp outside was -7!

Was finally able to stop by and pick up a range of pastries for my family. As a Mexican I wanted to try the difference in Guatemalan pastries. Did not disappoint! During cold times I’m always craving a sweet treat with a warm drink.
The staff was super friendly and gave amazing recommendations!

It was blessing to find a Guatemalan bakery in Bloomington. I picked up some pan dulce, champurradas, pan magdalena and a few other items.
It reminded me of where I grew up, in the capital of guatemala zone 11. Its been way too many years since I’ve been back, it was refreshing to be able to enjoy some delicious items that I’ve missed for so long.

I drove past this place a few days ago…. I was curious as we do not have a nice bakery like this in the area. So today on my way home from work I decided to stop by and take a look.
I was welcomed immediately when I entered, and the man I spoke with was more than helpful by explaining the foods he had to offer. I really appreciated that gesture. I asked him how long they had been here, he told me 3 weeks. I welcomed him to the neighborhood and told him I appreciated them being here and bringing some diversity to the area.
I bought a few sweet breads and tried them when I got home. Very delicious, not too sweet. Just perfect. They paired well with coffee. I will be back.
Again, welcome to the neighborhood!
