We stopped by La Estación Colombiana to try some of their food after my uncle highly recommended it. We attempted to visit once before, but the restaurant was closed. The location is quite small, so I suggest arriving early to secure a seat. The interior is decorated with numerous photos, vibrant murals, and art representing Colombia. As you enter, the aroma of grilled meat greets you.
We were seated immediately, and our order was taken promptly. I didn’t catch the server’s name since I was invited, but I must say, the service was excellent, even as the place filled up. I ordered the bandeja paisa, and it was divine. I had heard that the pork belly could be a bit fatty, and mine was indeed that way. It could have been fried a little longer, but it was still quite tasty. The steak was fantastic and seasoned to perfection. The rice was good, and the egg, although small, resembled a fresh farm egg.
Everyone else ordered the carne asada, which they thoroughly enjoyed, as well as the fried fish dish. Everything was perfect. I would highly recommend this restaurant, and I can’t wait to go back to try more items from their menu. The portion sizes are enormous; if you leave feeling hungry, something might be wrong!

This Columbian restaurant had very good food and great service. Our 12 top’s food came out in quite the orderly fashion. Especially considering the size of the establishment. My only gripe is that I wish they were more creative with the plating. The plates were so big there was barely room to eat comfortably on our table. However let me be clear, it’s worth a try. Check out the daily special for 4.99. Can’t be beat!!!

The food was good. Service was awful! It would have been nice to have been greeted and advised that you just seat yourself. Also got our tab at the table and had to guess that you take it to the counter to check out. Tip is included which explains the laque of customer service. It is a nice place but service doesn’t make it worth returning.

I’ve been ordering thru uber eats and the food is absolutely delicious. I’m hooked on chicharron y arepa. I’ll spend my last dime to get some. I haven’t found the time to go into the restaurant but hopefully soon.

Service was nice. The food was okay. The sweet plantains that they served me and my family were way too ripe. They were almost like rotten sweet. The beans didn’t have flavor. They were very bland and the rice cake was dry and flavorless. The meats however, were delicious! Sauces were great except the green one it was very oily. Serving size is so worth the money. Restaurant was over all clean.

The food was enjoyable, the overall experience was marred by a disappointing level of service. From the start, it was clear that the staff were inattentive and unorganized. The dishes themselves were flavorful and well-prepared, making it clear that the kitchen knows what they’re doing. In fact, I’d recommend the food to anyone. But, given the level of service I experienced, it might be wise for the restaurant to consider switching to a to-go-only model. Without the pressure of managing table service, they could focus on what they excel at: cooking delicious food. They might find that their strengths as a food establishment would shine brighter without the burden of poor service dragging down the overall experience.

Will not be ordering from this place again. We have ordered multiple times through uber with different uber drivers. Every time we order we get an order of tostones, it never shows up. Unless all the uber drivers are eating the tostones I am going to assume the restaurant is doing a poor job in checking to make sure all the food is in the bag. And if the uber drivers are eating the food the restaurant should deal with the uber company instead of forcing the customer to do it. Horrible service.

The food is authentic, tasty and finger licking good. You can taste every flavor distinctly and it’s worth every dollar spent. It’s non greasy and not so much condiments. Natural seasoning and healthy. The atmosphere is calm, cozy and very pleasant. Totally recommend The Estación Colombian restaurant, you won’t be disappointed.
