Our first time visiting for breakfast! El Piqueo for breakfast was very good except for el Tamal. this place is very busy with only 12 tables so you may have to sit yourself even before the table is cleaned. Service was good for a typical Peruvian restaurant.

This place is so so good. Been going for years and the food has always kept their amazing flavor. Customer service is also great. I wish I can rate them more stars. The amount of customers they have ever Saturday morning proves how good this place is. A Gem in a town like Union City!

It is always a pleasure to eat here, the service is cordial and the food is fantastic. my kids love chicken wonton soup and fried wontons. the plates are big we never finish everything so we can take home. definitely highly recommended

How the heck is the owner gonna give a sandwich while his hand is bleeding and when I inquired about a possible blood spilled on my sandwich, he replied “don’t worry” and charged me. Never going there again!!!!

The food is ok but the customer service is poor. We went for breakfast and they took 40m to bring my breakfast while my mother already finished hers, the waitress was not paying attention and even when my mom ask her for the food she was dismissive with my mother. The place has no heather and is extremely cold…our food got cold within 5m of been served. That bad experience with the waitress and the bad heating is not worth more stars…u could do better

I highly recommend this restaurant! Great authentic, fresh, and flavorful food. By far hands down the best Peruvian food I’ve eaten since moving to union city, staff is beyond friendly great family environment, very clean, affordable, I can go on for days! Their lomo is some of the best I have ever eaten! 10/10! Thank you La Esquina Del Buen Gusto for the hospitality and great food!
