One night, after being disappointed with what we had originally had planned for dinner, we happened across this place after my son suggested it, noting that they sold pupusas there. After noting a take-out special that included a dozen pupusas and four horchatas for $55, we walked in and ordered that to take home. After a short wait, we walked out with a dozen hot & fresh pupusas and our drinks before heading home just a few blocks away.

We divided up the meal and drinks and happily (and heartily) began digging into the meal. The pupusas were absolutely delicious. And extremely filling. And while my wife wasn’t a fan off their horchata, the rest of the family really enjoyed them. The pupusas, with all their accompaniments, were the real stars of the meal. The mixed filling was perfectly flavored.

We decided that night that on our next family night out, we’d stop by here again for our meal. Hopefully I’ll even remember to snap a few pics since we were so hungry and satisfied by what we had brought home, I didn’t get a chance to this time.

Edit: We returned once again for the same take-out order and were once again left fully satisfied with the delicious food. But this time I remembered to snap a few pictures of the meal before we started eating it up heartily.

Had been a few years since I initially went and went there again recently. It’s a good Guatemalan and Salvadoran restaurant. I had the Desayuno Chapin, wasn’t bad asked for sunny side up but they ended up over easy, chorizo wasn’t bad; the platanos fritos con crema, frijoles revueltos with the queso fresco were good. My lil one enjoyed the kids pupusa meal that has 2 of them with apple slices, frijoles and rice. The agua frescas were good had the Jamaica and Tamarindo. Instead of chips was given small tortillas with frijoles as appetizer. Would go again and try their other melas for lunch or dinner, went for a brunch meal this time around. Definitely check this place out and support your local Latin American restaurant!

Amazing food wonderful atmosphere. Our server was Glendy’s who made sure we had a great dinner experience during Valentine’s Day. 10/10 will recommend their pupusas and bakery items are delicious

The most fantastic, fresh, and wholesome meals and baked goods come from this restaurant. From the moment you sit down you’re welcomed and cared for like family with a plate of mini tortillas and beans to dip. We ordered the pupusa special (2 pupusas with rice, beans, and curtido.) with fresh Jamaica. Hard to overstate the care that went into these enormous savory pupusas. I got the veggie pupusa and the bean and cheese pupusas I added loroco to each one. Our server read back our order and she was careful to honor small requests. There are so many reasons why the thoughtful touches of these dishes were delicious. The veggie pupusa had vegetables that had been pre-charred so there was a mix of freshness and smokiness to the flavors. The generous portion of curtido was served in a glass with tongs and it had a lovely but not-too-spicy kick of jalapeños. If you like spicy, you can ask for their hot sauce which is scratch made, in house. When you receive the bill they have homemade candies on tiny spoons like a lollipop. I can’t say enough about the generosity of this restaurant, they are truly serving love with every bite. I can’t wait to return!

Everything was fresh, hearty, and delicious. We started with the complimentary corn tortillas with black beans. The tortillas were still warm and melted in our mouths! We had the pastelitos de carne which were great, especially with the pickled cabbage heaped on the plate. The fried plantains were INCREDIBLE. So crispy and sweet, served with crema and beans of course. My husband got the pupusa plate (holy crispy cheese edges in the very best way). But my absolute favorite was my dish, pollo con crema. It was perfectly salty and unctuous without being heavy. We also loved the little sweet and spicy tamarind candy that came with the check. Can’t wait to go back to try their drool-inducing pastries!

If you’re craving authentic Salvadoran food, this is the spot. The pupusas are, as the name suggests, absolutely perfect—crispy on the outside, filled with cheesy, savory goodness inside. The classic cheese and pork combo is a must-try, but their bean and cheese variation hits just as hard. Don’t skip the curtido (pickled cabbage) and salsa; they add the perfect tangy balance.

The atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming, making it an ideal spot for a casual meal with friends. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the mood for comfort food that hits the spot.

I absolutely love this place. The menu is Guatemalan, Salvadorian and Mexican food. Their specialty is traditional Guatemala food.

They have all sorts of traditional foods. Including platanos Fritos, empanadas, desayunos typicos, pepian, tortillas hecha a Mano, yucca frita, pastelitos and tamales de chipilin. It just hits me in all my Central American spots! Specially the atol de elote!

In store there is also a mini bakery where you can buy bolio and Guatemalan bread. The atmosphere is great, very traditional.

The ladies here are very nice, and are bilingual. Please come try out this place, you won’t regret it!

By far the best pupusas and tamales I’ve had. Also had a fun breakfast plate with a tasty egg/veggie scramble along with chorizo, plantains, fresh tortillas, fresh cheese, and black beans. Check came with fun little spoons of a very tasty tamarind paste….what a nice touch! Everything fresh tasting and delicious. Many interesting drinks…I had a champurado. Baked goods looked great but I was too full. Service was friendly and decor was nice. Definitely where we’ll be going for this kind of food.

My gf brought me here, she said there is a location by her house, and I would love it. So we tried the Long Beach location, and omg, it surely was an experience. This is a whole new cuisine for me, so I was excited to try it. I needed step by step guiding on how to eat everything, so I was very glad I did not venture by myself, always better when someone knows what’s going on!!!
I ordered the tongue dish, it was juuuuust delicioussss. A great culinary experience, I think I found a new classic. Loved the pickled cabage also. The beans were great, the rice, everything you would expect from a great meal.
Very funny, engaging, warm personalities, the girl was hilarious, and very very friendly.
The people always make half the experience for me, amd I can tell u, this is one of my new fave spots. I am coming back, with more friends!!!

Sat down, ordered & Waited 40 minutes for our drinks.. only to get them AFTER receiving half our order. Only to receive the other half completely wrong & beans were frozen cold fresh out the fridge.. all while being tendered by a waitress that prefers to be on her personal phone talking to friends on speaker. So gooodluck telling her the orders wrong.. she’ll be too busy on personal stuff.. worst experience ever.
