The bread is really good and the prices are the best. Met the owner and he was really friendly and helpful. It’s nice to see the owner even though he is in his 80s, still helping. Had to buy a large order for an even and everyone enjoyed the bread.

We ordered a naked cake for my baby shower and everyone loved it! It wasn’t overly sweet it was just perfect. I decorated it ,but it still looked so neat without everything added on it. I have always come to this bakery because the bread is good and it is not expensive, but their customer service is terrible. I paid and my total was $24. I gave the cashier $25 and she gave me my change with no receipt. I then came out of the bakery thinking what I had bought and I felt she had over charged me. I then went back to the store and asked for a receipt. It turns out she had charged me $4 over. I then told her you need to pay more attention to what you are doing. I then get out of the store and call and I speak with a man’s called Joe and he tries to excuse the cashier and is very rude. I tell him if you are the appointed person there and you talk to your customers like that what can I expect from the workers. I was so mad that I hanged up on him, but I can guarantee you that this will be the last time I step into this bakery. I don’t know where all the nice people that were working there went !

This place was non-stop with locals even at 9 in the morning. We traveled to San benito from Florida as one of our family members grew up in this area. This Bakery was known as one of the best back then and still is today. Everything we bought was extremely fresh. Highly recommend this place to anyone. Very hard to find any places like this anymore

If I could give negative stars I would. They have their hours posted and turned away 10 customers in less than five min. ALL of which were here BEFORE one, as PAINTED on their wall next to the door. They were super rude when we called and asked why they closed so soon, over half an hour earlier than the posted time. They just kept repeating themselves saying, “We’re closed”, over and over again.
