Amazing food, welcoming and friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. I had the chicken that was on the specials. Absolutely delicious. My husband’ had the ribeye 350g that was perfectly cooked. The Normandy apple tart to finish was so tasty. Highly recommend ans will definitely return.

It was our first time at La Escalera and we loved the relaxed atmosphere, the food was excellent and the service was friendly. Everyone else seemed to be really loving their food too and you had nice views down the main strip. Highly recommended.

Lovely setting, had the tuna tartare which was finely chopped and really nice, and the steaks were the best red meat I’ve had down here – perfectly cooked and full of flavour. Margarita was a lovely host and made us feel very welcome

I ordered the octopus for €24 – it was extremely salty and completely inedible. I mentioned the problem, but the staff refused to replace it. Even though I didn’t eat it, they still insisted I should pay. I had to argue for a long time until they finally removed it from the bill. Very unpleasant experience and poor customer service – definitely not recommended.

Food was amazing — the lubina was absolutely sublime, cooked perfectly and full of flavour. The Balthazar potatoes were incredibly moreish, and the lemon crumble was outstanding — worth visiting just for that alone.
Service was particularly good; our waitress was attentive and friendly. Prices for the specials were clearly given, and I was even invited to taste the wine before committing to a glass — a really nice touch. Food arrived in good time, and everything felt well-paced and relaxed.

We were super received by the hostess. She told well and directly about the specials and ordered some we will definitely come back here! Food was top quality. You also sit super nice outside! We did tapas. Here we had tuna tartare and ibierico ham and patatas.
