Found this spot on my way to work. It was amazing. The chicken burrito was pretty large for the price and it comes with a choice or salad or fries! Guacamole and cheese as a side as well. Extremely filling and delicious. Interior looked great and service was great. I recommend eating in as they give you chips and sauces for dipping for free. Def Inter coming back.

If you like really good Mexican food, you’ll LOVE La Enchilda restaurant! It’s small, clean, and modestly decorated. The food is made to order and fresh! Service is very good. Owner is nice as well. GO THERE! You will not be disappointed.

Food is excellent and reasonably priced preparation time is quick I usually use take out. I absolutely love their food. I usually get A pork and pineapple taco I don’t remember what they called but they are fantastic There are 6 soft corn tortilla shells. And enough filling to fill all of them I generally get 2 meals out of it. Reasonably priced for the amount of food.

Small but well appointed space. The food is incredible and has great portions for the price. Stand out was, for sure, the quesabirria tacos. The most flavorful consume I’ve had in years. Can’t wait to come back again

So I’m always in the mood for Mexican and I can’t really find a good authentic Mexican place. This place is right down the street from me. Finally gave it a try and now I’m hooked. I’ve been there 2x in one week. I got the chicken burrito both times. The guacamole is so yummy and has a nice kick to it. The salsa verda lots of flavor and a kick. Everyone loves the rice.

What a great (relatively) new restaurant in Egg Harbor City! It’s run by a local family that also owns Plaza Mexicana, my favorite store for Mexican food supplies. I have eaten at La Enchilada twice and the food was so delicious both times! …very authentic with great flavors and beautiful presentations! The tacos, tostadas and fajitas were yummy Tortillas were fresh and made locally in South Jersey. Can’t wait to go back and try more dishes. It’s located right next to Incollingo’s Market in downtown Egg Harbor City. Give this restaurant a try next time you’re in the mood for some great Mexican food!

TLDR: If you like authentic Mexican food, a visit here will not disappoint.

We left a wrestling tournament at Harrahs in Atlantic City longing for some actual food (Harrahs food is trash). The wrestlers voted for Mexican food, so I pulled up restaurants near us, and this one came up. We took the 10-minute detour and pulled up to this unassuming little gem.
The restaurant itself is smallish inside with maybe 6 to 8 tables. A few lovely paintings and music added to the authentic atmosphere. Our server came swiftly and didn’t bat an eye when we switched to a different table. The menu had something for everyone (important with two vegetarians in our group). The chips were made in-house and served with green salsa and black beans. DELICIOUS
They serve water in beautiful heavy glasses, and they had a full lineup of Jarritos available to drink.
We tried the potato quesadilla as an appetizer and were not disappointed. The main courses were just as good. The burritos were packed and stacked, the shrimp fajitas were perfectly seasoned, and my husband was impressed with his steak nacho platter. The prices were reasonable, with the bill being a little over 90 dollars for 4 entrees, an appetizer, and 3 sodas. We all left with happy, full bellies and decided it was the best meal we’d had in days.
