Really amazing food in a very clean friendly restaurant.
The tortillas, as many others have said, are delicious.
We ordered the Chile rojo combo plate and the quesabirria. Both were excellent as are the sauces and complimentary chips and salsa.
Definitely stop in here, you will not regret it.

The eating area was small, but the service and food were out of this world. The helpings were generous and the flavors were outstanding. It was the best Mexican food that we had had in over 15 years, including multiple locations in Mexico.

Reviewers, I owe you all an apology. Many of you claimed this was as good as the Mexican in SoCal or Mexico. As a native San Diegan, I thought, “ain’t no way.”
Y’all were right. This place is amazing! This is as good as a Bertos. Better than anything else. Everyone working was so chill. The salsas were excellent.

Not from Washington State flew in from California. Looking for some good Mexican food. I found this restaurant by recommendation drove 30 minutes out of my way to eat here and I’m not disappointed. Return Factor 100%. Had caldo de res, taco de lengua. Came with home made corn tortillas… like my mother makes… it’s truly an authentic Mexican food experience. Staff warm and friendly an happy to serve.

The best Mexican food I’ve ever had! I’ve struggled to find a good quality Mexican restaurant since moving to Washington from California but this place takes the cake for anywhere! Highest quality of freshness, you can taste the love through the homemade tortillas and sauces. They don’t take short cuts here and the food shines because of it. The kindest woman welcomed us in and checked in with us after we ordered. Excellent across the board.

The food here is excellent. Just a really outstanding version of a bunch of staple dishes. Salsa was excellent, tortillas were excellent. Chili guajes was exactly what I wanted it to taste like. Rice and beans were solid. Good portions too.

I lived in Mexico for 16 years, and this is the closest, most authentic Mexican food I’ve had since moving here! Every dish tastes truly homemade — full of flavor, tradition, and made with so much care. You can really tell they use fresh ingredients and cook with pride. The place is always clean, the food is prepared hygienically, and the service makes you feel right at home. Highly recommend for anyone craving genuine Mexican comfort food — it’s like being back in Mexico!
