For a Thursday evening they were definitely busy with that in mind they did not fail to provide great service & the atmosphere was amazing. We had appetizers, dinner & drinks. The Mango Tequila “Martini” is super good definitely a bit strong. Normally I am not a fan of burrata cheese but the Barrata appetizer was 5/5. The rack of lambs and Branzino were the best entrees at our table. The spicy gnocchi was not as spicy as we thought it’d be it had the smallest kick and Gamberoni ai Scampi was a bit bland. Regardless, I recommend this place 100% it’s not for the kids too much but definitely worth the night out. Our waiter was very sweet and gave us great recommendations, we will be back soon.

Pretty amazing spot! We had the avocado burrata to start, paired with a glass of Inscription Pinot Noir. For entrees, we had the Branzino and Orecchiette, complimented by an amazing bottle of Barolo. The bottle of wine and the burrata were recommended by our server Bill G., who was absolutely wonderful! He was funny and inviting, which created a lovely atmosphere! As a person with allergies, he assured me I would be safe, which is a great piece of mind.

Very good . Your choices of pasta, seafood and steak made it hard hard to decide on an entree! Right on beachfront, view was great.servers were busy. Pricey, but definitely worth the money.

Awesome Italian restaurant right on the beach in Belmar. My branzino was super delicious as was my wife’s rigatoni Bolognese. Great service and fantastic outdoor seating.

My updated review is all about the Happy Hour. We have lived in Belmar for over 20 years and in the off season we like coming here for happy hour because it truly is a lot of locals. Between the welcoming bartenders who make a great martini or margarita and the nice selection for small bites it is a nice place to be. Enjoy their wine selection as well depends what we are in the mood for. Also your across from the ocean, what more can you ask for. During the summer months we do lunch pretty regularly. We leave the beach for an hour and indulge in either lunch or again the happy hour selections. Love the boneless chicken (white meat strips) with the buffalo and blue cheese sauces on the side! My absolute favorite, Rich loves the Mini Osso Bucco over Risotto and the tuna carpaccio. Always comfortable, a nice vibe and great time. Arrive early, this past Friday they were so packed at 5:00 that we could only say hi from across the room. If you get here by about 4:00 you can enjoy the last two hours of happy hour. Then there’s coming even earlier and enjoying the cocktails and food as a late lunch!

Great first meal and experience sitting at a friendly, casual bar. Where a very talented and personable young bartender Lyla provided excellent service. I had a very reasonable priced bottle of Zenato Baby Amorone and Linguine with no less than 30 posilipo baby clams in a light white wine sauce with garlic. Off the charts!

Always a family favorite! Great fish, salads and meat. Veal chop with penne vodka is one of my favorites and my wife loves the fish. Plenty of Italian wine, too.

Cute little spot by Belmar Boardwalk. My SO & I ate here for lunch & sat outside. We didn’t want “boardwalk” Food & opted for something with more healthier options. Where we sat, there were some tall flower/tree pots that offered some privacy from the public eye. Service was excellent. Our waitress was very attentive & friendly. We both ordered salads & there was nothing left at the end. I’d come back here again & try other entrees on the menu. Overall I thought we had a good experience & atmosphere was nice.

My family and friends come to La Dolce Vita at least weekly during the summer and sometimes multiple times. The staff is always professional and welcoming; however, Jess in particular stands out. She always welcomes us with a great big smile which is so appreciated. Her cocktails are always perfect and continually makes great suggestions. La Dolce Vita is fortunate to have Jess as she brings so much value! Also, the food is so delicious!

The food was the blandest and most expensive food I’ve been forced to pay for. Even when the sides were offered to be replaced (because the broccolini was so bitter) they tried charging me an additional $8 to switch to mashed potatoes. I ordered Chilean Sea Bass and it wasn’t cooked thoroughly. It was mushy. I would never go back to this place. The best food there was the free bread. Also, when I complained about the food the manager would never come out to assist and make it right. They’re understaffed. Location is nice but the food is RIDICULOUSLY priced if they can’t cook it. I paid full price for a very poor experience.
