Truly magical dining experience!! We made advanced reservations & had group of 10. Sat quickly, food was fast & portions will last for days. Everything tasted fresh, pasta & sauces were perfect tasting. Our server Amanda & the owner Alfie were phenomenal & the Christmas decor was out of this world beautiful! I only regret that I didn’t have any room for dessert. I’m looking forward to going again next time I visit PA! Really incredible restaurant!!

We drove and hour and a half to see what the hype was about. Wow, what a beautiful place inside. The service was top notch and the food was excellent. My wife ordered eggplant rollatini which was not even on the menu but they made it for her anyway. The veal parm is huge and some of the best I have ever had. We took half of our entrees home to save room for dessert. The cannoli cake was great and so was the raspberry confetti cheesecake. We are already planning a return trip.

My family and I come together here at least twice a year for birthday celebrations. We hail from Williamsport, Lebanon, Bloomsburg, Selinsgrove, not only for the amazing food, but for the incredible atmosphere. It does get quite busy so make a reservation ahead of time. Dishes and sandwiches are quite large so don’t eat before arriving! Definitely one of the best restaurants I’ve frequented. The staff is amazing and the service is top notch. You won’t be disappointed!!

I learned about this place from a friend, and couldn’t wait to visit. We drove 3 hrs and couldn’t be any more delighted with our visit. As small business owners ourselves, we know the importance for connecting with your customers and making them feel welcome and appreciated — and the owner, Alfie nailed it! We noticed him chatting with customers as they were leaving and he did the same with us. He even gave us some free choc chip cranberry cookies for our ride home – which was so very thoughtful and they were delicious! We asked about the beautiful Christmas decor and he told us that they have the Christmas decor up from Nov 15-Mar 15 and then it changes to an equally stunning summer theme.
We came in January and we had reservations and got right in, with no wait. They had an enclosed heated area on the sidewalk for those waiting which was nice. This restaurant has an extensive menu. The portions are huge so you won’t leave hungry. The decor is out-of-this world and really a destination in itself. So detailed and intricate. The salad was very fresh. We got the veal parm and Alfie’s penne w/ shrimp and both were just perfect. Yes, the sauce is on the sweeter side, but we loved the taste. We can’t wait to return and to tell others. Keep up the great hospitality!

Second time dining here and it has matched or exceeded our expectations each time. This is an expensive restaurant but can also be cheaper while digging through the menu. Atmosphere is amazing! Love the live singer and it looked beautiful with all the lights for Christmas. Definitely worth the stop!

The atmosphere is unique. We visited during Christmas and the entire restaurant from the ceiling, walls and everywhere are decorated in lights and more. Our waitress was attentive and excellent keeping everyone’s order correct. The drinks and food is excellent and the portions are HUGE. Each entrie comes with soup or salad and rolls. The salad is a simple iceburg lettuce with a couple of tomatoes and cucumbers. The dinner rolls are warm and fresh served with a side of sauce. I ordered the Seafood Lasagna. The portion was huge, topped with large shrimp in a delicious vodka. sauce. Seems everyone at our table took home some of their meals. Our table in 12 will definitely be back again.

We really enjoyed this Italian restaurant. It is the Christmas Village of Tamaqua! The food and service was great. The portions are large…we had enough left over for a second meal. We ordered the chicken marsala and gigi special. Both were fantastic. We will be going back in the future to sample some more of the other dishes.

So my daughter and I are here to spend the holidays with my parents (we live in Indiana), and he tells us about this restaurant that he found online because of the Christmas lights and he said he was told the food was good. So today we decided to go try it out and OMG!!!!! It was nothing like I expected. It truly is a winter wonderland with amazing food and desserts that make your mouth water just looking at them. We are so lucky we went. I will never forget this as long as I live.

This place is worth the drive, located in a small town so am assuming most will travel to visit.
The Xmas holiday decorations are worth the visit and experience. From the moment you arrive be prepared:
– To wait.
– Received excellent service, from the host to the owner.
– Bring food home.
We had veal, salads, and the parm meal, all were tasty. I would like to return and try the pizza which looked fantastic as we saw many being delivered to tables.
I recommend giving this place a try!

“Phenomenal” is one word to describe La Dolce Casa at DiMaggio’s in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania. At first glance at the menu, you would think typical average Italian restaurant. But, average this place is not. The portion sizes are huge! The flavors infused in the food are top notch. Truly one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever visited. The service is amazing! Our server was attentive and one of the nicest people. La Dolce Casa knows how to do Italian and treat its customer right. An added bonus to our visit was the Christmas lights. This place is decked out in holiday cheer!
A word of advice: make reservations!
You will not be disappointed with a visit to La Dolce Casa at DiMaggio’s!
