Can’t lie, the spicy margaritas were insanely good… The frozen hibiscus margs were also delicious. The food was great, fish tacos -wings – and the bone marrow burger was so damn good. Definitely recommending and will definitely be back.

Shout out to Adrian and Charley who went above and beyond for us. So many drinks are made with housemade liquors and natural ingredients. Everything is made to order and tasted fresh, flavorful and yummy. Highly recommend the hibiscus freeze and naval margarita. The green tea shots I could have ten more too. The guacamole and house made chips outstanding. Big amount. The shrimp cocktail was better than anywhere in the USA. Big juicy shrimp in a sauce with buttery crackers and fresh avocado. The vegetarian quesadillas and tacos delicious. The corn toro are so tasty you can taste the corn. All the hot sauce and sauces are house made. Everything is made to order. The steak frite my friend loved. This is nyc at its best. A. Jungle modern speakeasy in the heart of Chinatown.

This is a nice spot in Chinatown with some amazing cocktails and fun vibes!
Their tacos were my favorite.
Great to host private events as well. Someone was celebrating their birthday party when we visited and it seemed like an amazing event!
Definitely check out their amazing happy hour too when you get a chance

The worst service spot, insane wait times during brunch hours. Food was decent, michelada was nice but small (you don’t get the rest of the beer on the side so the mix can be very strong). If you have all the time to wait then this can be a happy hour you sit at for a while since its basically all day.. but for a larger group definitely not worth it.

The restaurant features a nice neon and semi floral vibe and even has an extra room perfect for large groups. The service was quite slow; had to wait a long time for the food to arrive.
Divorced Enchiladas (2.5/5): While the presentation was incredible, the flavor unfortunately fell flat. The stuffing was bland, and both sauces leaned a bit sour, failing to redeem the dish.
Chori Queso Skillet (5/5): Super tasty!

Ok I went to La Diaspora just looking for somewhere to hang out in Chinatown for a little bit! The drinks were awesome, the service was awesome as well! Paulina, Penelope and Sara were outstanding! The only issue was… the food, absolutely everything was bland! I would dare to say even the hot sauce was bland! We had the calamari. The only saving grace for the food were the sweet plantains but, come on, it’s pretty hard to screw up fried sweet plantains. I would recommend it for a good place to have drinks and a good atmosphere a nice conversations with friendly staff but other than that, avoid the food at all costs. Unless you like bland stuff then have at it!

Fun vibes walking in, great decor and mood lighting. Great bartender and drink options to match – try the Flower Fizz. Food was hit or miss. Guacamole was good as was the divorced enchiladas(comes w/ two sauces). That was a unique tasting. Beef tacos needed a little more acidity and could use a little color. The chicken burrito was prettier than it tasted, which was disappointingly dry. Pricing here is a good value but it was a miss for me.

I went there for a late lunch and liked it so much I went back the next day. Sara (bartender) and Joaquina (waitress) were friendly and provided excellent service. The fish tacos and carnitas tacos were outstanding. Highly recommend.

Overall rating: 4.7
My friend recommended this place to me claiming (!) they have really good espresso martinis. I was a bit cautious because they have such high ratings. From the outside, it looks like it’s just going to be a tourist spot.
But going inside was a very different experience. The decor is so much fun and the vibe is awesome. Definitely brought some energy up which was needed. I sat at the bar and the bartender was really nice and still left me alone.
The espresso martini was good & I had a chicken sandwich which was amazing. Total price of $35 including tip hurt a little, but that’s the city we live in now. I’d go back again if I’m in the area needing a place to hang. Highly recommend!
