Nice taqueria with great food and large portions. I came in for a late lunch with eyes definitely bigger than my stomach.
I ordered the Birria Tacos but fearing I wouldn’t have enough to eat, ordered the Burrito Gigante as well thinking, worst case, I’ll have leftovers for dinner. The food all arrived quickly and were fresh and delicious.
The Birria Tacos were tender and the consommé was flavorful and not overly salty. The Burrito Gigante (I got steak) was jam-packed with cuts of meat, refried beans, peppers, and onions. I was full after the Birria but ended up eating half the burrito anyways because I just couldn’t stop myself.
I was the only one dining in at 3pm but the staff was extremely attentive and nice. They had a lot of to-go orders though, which was not surprising. Will definitely be coming back.

We had the opportunity to visit recently for lunch. We tried the pollo loco, an order of fries and cheese dip. The food is obviously fresh and made to order. It took approximately 15 to receive our food. It was all hot and well seasoned with grea , clean flavors. The fries were freshly cut and lightly fried in clean oil. We used the fries with the cheese dip and they were so good. The drinks came in huge glass mugs. All in all it was a good experience and a welcome addition to Dayton Blvd.

Every single bite felt like a genuine homemade meal. Idk if it was love mixed in or what but the food was better every single bite. I highly recommend. There’s pictures on the menu for every meal for kids and to have a better idea of what you’re getting. Big portions as well. I recommend again and again and again. Picture the grilled chicken nachos and pollo loco. My husband got the birria tacos and was melting with every bite.

After a long, rainy day, I decided to pull up to Taqueria La Delicia in Red Bank, and it turned out to be a delightful surprise for both me and my partner. From the outside, you might not expect much, but step inside, and you’re greeted with a spacious, vibrant environment. The green walls, festive holiday touches, and cozy atmosphere make it a welcoming escape.
The food was incredible. I ordered the Mar y Cielo and a Burrito Gigante with chicken, and both dishes were packed with bold, authentic Mexican and Guatemalan flavors. The portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh and satisfying. Pairing it with Coca-Cola and Sprite made for the perfect meal.
What truly elevated the experience was the warm service from Isabel, who was running the front. She was not only efficient but also made the visit personal and enjoyable. My partner, who is bilingual, had an engaging and enlightening conversation with her, adding a memorable, human touch to our night.

Delicious! We enjoyed our whole order here, the salsa was very tomato sauce based but spicy and definitely hit the spot. I ordered the fajita quesadilla (mix) and it was so delightfully crispy and the meats and veggies inside were perfectly grilled and slathered in cheesy sauce. My husband ordered a giant steak burrito covered in cheesy cream sauce that also exceeded expectations. The horchata and mango beverage orders were fine in lieu of a beer (maybe they’re working on a beer license?). Glad to have this place open here.

Absolutely loved our experience at the restaurant! The food quality and service was incredible. The food came out fast and was great quality. I particularly liked the birria tacos. My only point of feedback was that the salsa they originally served was super spicy. I can’t imagine that most folks would like that and the mild that they provided us was better. They also don’t sell alcohol just an fyi.

Thank you so much for everything. The salsa is probably the best I’ve ever had from a restaurant, and I’m losing my mind over these birria tacos. I haven’t even finished eating yet and had to leave this review. Also thanks to the staff for being so kind and chill even tho I ordered less than an hour before close. This is the first time I’ve gotten to eat today and it’s probably the best meal of my life.

I love Mexican chicken soup. This is what I got. This piece of chicken in some broth with overcooked noodles and zucchini. I already poured it out. Tasted horrible. No prep or skinning of the chicken. Just cut it off and plopped it in my bowl. Second picture is el matador in rossville an hour later. Best soup in town and consistent.

Both the chicken and birria tacos were great. Salsa is tasty. Tortillas seem house made. The server was sweet. They use big cups with lots of ice. It’s great all around. Will definitely be going back.
