Tried La Delicia for Sunday brunch for the first time and it wasn’t bad overall. I ordered the pork tamales, but they were disappointing. They were barely filled, not fresh or steaming hot, and were served already unwrapped from the corn husk. The waiter mentioned the owner’s mother makes them at home and brings them in… yeah, no. I sent them back.

I then ordered the chimichurri steak and eggs and that dish was much better. The steak and eggs were cooked perfectly, the potatoes and rice were hot and fresh, and the combo meat cheesy fajita rice was good as well. Our waitress was friendly and pleasant.

I’d say give them a try, but if you love flavorful, filled tamales, skip them here.

Let’s Go!!! We were on our way to a restaurant chain. I told my wife that I wanted a burrito for breakfast. I told her to google breakfast burrito. Well she did. This place popped up.

I am a huge fan of family owned local businesses.

As we walked in the front door. We were greeted by the friendly staff.

The restaurant is kept very clean including the restrooms.

There is plenty of room to sit. They have a full service bar.

They did an amazing job on the design.

The service was outstanding. Friendly service from everyone.

The food was delicious.

Come visit an amazing local business.

Thanks again for being amazing.

I was in town visiting a friend in Mobile and we decided to stop by La Delicia for dinner Friday night — and wow, what a find! I ordered the cheesy fajita rice and the Cajun shrimp minichangas as an appetizer. Everything was absolutely delicious (sadly no pictures that night!). It was so good, we came back again the next day for brunch. We sat out on the patio both times and loved the atmosphere, friendly service, and great vibe. For brunch, we enjoyed the huevos con chorizo, chilaquiles divorciados, and couldn’t resist the Nutella French toast for dessert — all amazing (& pictured)! We were total repeat visitors in 24 hours and can’t wait to come back again next time we’re in town!

La Delicia is hands down the best Mexican food in Mobile, Alabama! Every dish tastes fresh, authentic, and made with love. The service is always excellent, fast, friendly, and welcoming every single time. You can feel the family atmosphere the moment you walk in; everyone treats you like one of their own, and it’s clear this place is truly family-run with pride and care.

I’ve already filled out two punch cards because I just keep coming back! Whether it’s tacos, fajitas, or their incredible salsa, everything is top-notch. The food, the people, and the vibe make it a spot you can’t help but love. This Jamaican loves La Delicia!

I reluctantly accepted a coworker’s invite to this place thinking “it is just your average American trying to be Mexican place”. Well happy to say I was wrong. I had the chilaquiles, food which is already hard enough to get it done right in Mexico, and La Delicia nailed it.

The staff is also very friendly, and the atmosphere is Mexican alright, if you know your Latin music you’ll be happy dancing on your seat both because of the music and the great food.

Have t had their dinner yet, but if it is anything like their brunch, you should try it yesterday.

I cannot rave enough about La Delicia Mexican Brunch! From the moment we walked in, the customer service was outstanding. The staff took their time with us, never making us feel rushed, and they patiently explained every option on the menu. Their kindness and attentiveness made the experience even better.

The food itself is incredible—savory, flavorful, and truly authentic Mexican. I was thrilled to see chilaquiles offered at a sit-down restaurant (a rare find!), and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. They even have conchas (traditional Mexican sweet bread), including a fun twist with stuffed conchas.

The restaurant is gorgeous, the plates are generous, and the prices—around $12–$15 per dish—are very reasonable for the quality and experience. They offer both brunch and lunch, and it’s definitely a place worth visiting.

Best of all, they’re a small family-owned business, which makes supporting them even more meaningful. This was my first time here, but it will definitely not be my last. I highly encourage everyone to go check it out—you won’t regret it!

Went to La Delicia with my group from our Mobile Tourism Ambassador program and the rumors are true! This place was great from the food to the service. Everything was fresh and the plating was aesthetic! I got the Enchiladas. 10/10 would recommend!

Stopped by here cause they had a Wednesday special of $10.99 for a breakfast burrito and I gotta say it was the best breakfast burrito I’ve ever tasted.
Also the cornbread pancakes were a fun twist on the classic pancake.
It’s only a 2 month old restaurant at the time of writing but I think they have a bright future ahead. The nice atmosphere combined with the creative but classic menu is sure to be a hit. Also, outdoor seating is a great option to have.
