This place should be on everyones bucket list. The experience of this restaurant is an adventure in it’s own. Located near the Teotihuacán Pyramids we took our bus from the pick up point to the restaurant. While standing in line we got caught in a massive downpour which honestly added to the excitement of the adventure.
When you enter you go down a long flight of stairs into the cavern however the stairs circle the inside so you can see the entire space as you walk down and it really is something to see.
The food was incredible and since we were there just after dias de los muertos the ofrenda was still up and really very cool to see.

Atmosphere was great. Never eaten inside a cave, but it had some nice ambiance to it. The food was horrible. The menu was limited, the taste was so bland, and we didn’t eat much of any of it. The service was slow, and basically came to the table once for the order and then to give us the food. No checking on you or refills.
So, if you just want to eat in a cave, it’s nice, but do not expect to enjoy the food.

Visited after a hot air balloon ride, we were given the option of chilaquiles or omelet upon arrival. Food was quick, cafe de olla and agua de Jamaica were both super tasty. Cute spot, and friendly staff.

This was a really cool place! Having dinner inside a real cave while watching a live performance was awesome and the food was very good as well. It’s a little smaller than the other restaurant that is also near by but this one is just as charming! I definitely recommend checking it out if you are visiting Teotihuacán! Check show times because they are only a few shows on weekends.
