A sweet and homie vibe restaurant. Excellent service even though you seat yourself. Tons of options made fresh. It was my Moms bday and they played happy Birthday on the speakers and lit a candle for her. Great place and can not wait to go back. I got the Cajun shrimp pasta(added peppers and mushrooms) mom got lasagna

This place really is as good as the reviews tell you. I went there with my husband and in laws for my MIL’s bday dinner and truly I don’t remember the last time I enjoyed Italian food this much. Their garlic knots were so soft with melt-in-your-mouth perfection. Their garlic sauce was WHATTTT??!?! Tooo good we asked for more!! For entrees ordered chicken parm, penne a la vodka (not real vodka if you’re concerned about alcohol), lasagne, and a pizza. The chicken parm was by far my favorite. My husband and SİL loved the penne. The lasagne was good but didn’t really stick out to me (I’m still in the search for the perfect lasagne), and the pizza was tasty but (I don’t remember which flavor my husband chose) it had garlic sauce instead of marinara sauce so it felt heavy and none of us could eat more than a slice. We also ordered drinks and the bill came out to $116. I can’t believe inflation but restaurant prices all over are way too high. However we enjoyed the food so much and the service was excellent by both waiters, very friendly and helpful, the vibe was very relaxed, place looked and felt clean, even when more customers came to dine in it didn’t feel crowded nor was it loud. The decor is beautiful. Our baby girl loved the water fountain by the door and I personally enjoyed the piano outside on the sidewalk. Such a unique experience!! Highly recommend you give it a try!!

Ordered medium Hawaiian pizza, 8 hot wings, and chicken Alfredo to go. Employees were nice when I went to pick up. The pizza was good, nice crust, good cheese, fair price. However the wings and pasta were disappointing. The wings were dry and hard to chew, buffalo sauce on the side was basic. I had high hopes for the pasta from reading other reviews but it lacked flavor. It was okay but for the price I expected a little more depth in flavor. A little extra salt would have helped or more garlic and they didn’t include a breadstick with the pasta. Total price was 57$ for these three items

Update to my previous review.
This place has two unnecessary TV’s. Usually the one facing the street is off. The one facing the kitchen is always on and always on Fox News. It’s a subtle but very clear political statement. I want to help this business to get the customers it wants and avoid those it doesn’t.

So, if you have a red hat or an ice vest, come on in, these are your people. Wear it proud, maybe they will give you an extra helping or discount to celebrate all the lower food prices.

If however, you are sick of the hateful propaganda pushed by fox, or just want to sit and enjoy a meal without having divisive politics shoved in your face, then this place isn’t for you. Life is hard enough without worrying about the people making your food filling their hearts and minds with hate of who you are.

Below is my original 5 star review, before they choose politics over hospitality.

Hands down some of the best food in Raleigh. Every meal I’ve had there has been great. I think the sign at the door is something “Welcome and Register”. What they mean is order at the register in the back. You order and they will bring it to the table when ready. The food is great, the decor fun and the staff friendly. I love the place!

Celebrated my birthday here and had such a wonderful experience! The staff were amazing, and the food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the chicken fettuccine Alfredo, and the portion size and chicken-to-pasta ratio were perfect.

Our waiter went above and beyond, he kept my ice cream cake in the fridge and brought it out with plates, a knife, cutlery, and even a lighter. Such thoughtful service!

My family had been here before and loved it, which is why they chose it for my birthday. As my first visit, it exceeded expectations, and I’ll definitely be back!

Food and service were excellent ! Garlic knots were best I’ve ever had- great light texture. Cherry peppers on pizza added great flavor and chicken parm presentation was beautiful and perfectly cooked. From the outside it looks basic but the quality is top notch. The clearly take a lot of pride in their work. Note – they don’t serve alcohol but we ran out to grab a bottle of wine and they were immediately at our table with a corkscrew and wine glasses to serve us- highly recommend.

Food is excellent. Garlic knots are phenomenal. Pizza is some of the best I’ve had in Raleigh. Service is wonderful and they seem very appreciative of their customers. We met some repeat customers who keep coming back. They don’t serve alcohol but you can bring your own. I ran over to Wal Mart and grabbed a bottle of wine and they uncorked it for us. If I were to suggest anything to change, it would be the lighting to create a little more ambience – I will definitely return.

I’ll be honest. Pulling into a Walmart parking lot does not exactly scream “prepare your taste buds for greatness.” The shop sits a little low, a little sneaky, and absolutely looks like it might just be there to mind its own business.

And then you walk inside… and everything you thought you knew about strip mall dining gets absolutely wrecked.

WOW.

The chicken fettuccine did not just show up, it kicked the door in and announced itself. Full-on Flavortown. Rich, creamy, perfectly cooked pasta with chicken that clearly did not come to mess around.

We came here because my family would not stop talking about the chicken parmesan, and now I understand why they wouldn’t shut up. That thing is legendary. Crispy, saucy, cheesy in all the right ways.

And the garlic knots? Absolute show-stealers. Soft, buttery, garlicky little pillows of joy that make you rethink every bad bread choice you have ever made in your life.

This place has no business being this good, especially where it is located, and yet here we are. Moral of the story: never judge a restaurant by its parking lot. Sometimes the best food is hiding next to aisle 12 and a shopping cart corral.

Only hit was the service was a bit of an afterthought… But I’ll still be back

I was excited to try the place and the food didn’t disappoint! I tried the garlic knots and chicken parm and ended with a cannoli. The calzone looked so nice and BIG but I just saw it being served so I don’t know about the taste. However everything we tried was amazing. We did wait a while for garlic knots, but they were so delicious that I forgot the wait time . One comment is I saw a lot of halal reviews but I saw the regular pork and ham stuff so I am not sure about that part, but maybe this meant for chicken and beef not all the menu. The place may seem a bit on the expensive side for the location but actually the portions are HUGE so it kind of makes sense, but I think they should really add half portion options to the menu. You will end up with a ready dinner to take with you if you come for lunch
