I have been to many Italian restaurants with my family but here I tasted the best Diavola pizza.
The chef cooked it to perfection. Not too crispy and I could taste all the ingredients – the mozzarella, pepperoni and quick-pickled super hot green chillies.
I washed down this pizza with a cool Italian beer, and could have had the same again. This was a devil’s wicked pizza. Complimenti allo chef!

The food was nothing short of incredible! The service was so lovely and friendly and went above and beyond for my boyfriend’s birthday. The confetti and free shots were so appreciated! They even brought out our cake and sung Happy Birthday. The place itself is so cozy and shic. Definitely would recommend!!

It was one of those evenings that just felt right. The music played softly in the background. It felt warm, relaxed, and just a little bit magical.
The wine was perfect. We raised our glasses with a quiet chin-chin, and from the first sip, time seemed to slow down. The pasta was delicious — fresh and made with love. Every bite was even better with good conversation.
Honestly, I felt like a special guest, like the place had been waiting just for us. Everything came together so naturally — the food, the music, the atmosphere, and the company.

We came to Hastings for two nights. On day one, we stumbled across this fantastic Italian restaurant.. a hidden gem offering authentic food made with ingredients from Naples, warm and welcoming atmosphere and very friendly service.. we were so so happy with the experience that on day two, we returned for another faultless meal! Pizza is something I haven’t been able to enjoy for most of my life, thanks to a tomato allergy, so the fact that Hastings has multiple fantastic pizza places that do traditional white-base options is brilliant! La Cucina’s food is amazing; I order the Classica pizza all the time, both online and in-person, and it’s so reasonably priced. Really really recommend, it’s such a hidden gem.
One bit of feedback though — if you order through Deliveroo, you have to select the cheese you want twice for the order to go through. This is technically fine if want regular cheese, but it means you have to pay more for vegan cheese. I called and alerted them to this problem months ago and it still isn’t fixed.

I found this little gem by accident and had the best pizza I’ve ever eaten. The owner/chef was very welcoming and made us feel at home. He really went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. The gluten-free pizza was also delicious, unlike the substandard gluten-free options at other restaurants.

If you have been to Italy you know how a pizza should be. The pizza here exceeded expectations and was authentic like the best I’ve had in Italy.
The restraunt is simple but cosy and has a nice feel. The host is a very friendly chap and we enjoyed our limoncello on the house.

The pasta and pizza are exceptionally delicious. The taste of carbonara is very rich with egg yolk, grilled bacon, and special cheese. This is the best carbonara I’ve ever tasted.
The pizza is traditionally baked which makes the ground smells good. The cheese in the pizza even brings the taste to another level.
The chef and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. They always cater to your needs no matter for ordering food or checking bills.
The best environment is very Italian and the nero d avola(a type of red wine) is rich with grapes. The Italian music makes me feel comfortable when dining.
It’s a restaurant you can’t miss when you visit Hastings.
