The best Cuban I’ve ever had. The pulled pork is tender sweet and juicy. The platanos were delicious, it’s a good thing we got 2 servings! The guava and cheese empanada was different and our favorite- so good we wanted to get more immediately.

The people were nice, but mannnn was the food awful. Don’t let the rating fool you. I have been going to this place, off and on for years and every time I go I’m reminded of why I stopped coming. Okay, let’s get to it! FLAVORLESS FLAVORLESS FLAVORLESS!! The pork was dry and old, the plantains were dry and old(so old the inside looked like a luffa) never in my life have a seen platano have a crust on the inside, the Yuca was underdone(grainy), the portions were incredibly small, and worst of all the meals were $16 a piece. Not only was the food flavorless, but it had SERIOUS quality issues! I love my people, but this is not a actual representation of our food and flavors. Hopefully you guys take this review to heart and start serving real Cuban food, with correct portions. For now I’m headed back to the Latin Market on Valrico and Sr60.

I have only had their breakfast items on multiple morning visits. Their sandwiches are very well made and tasty. They are made somewhat different than Morenos. To me La Cubanita’s sandwiches are lighter and less of a heavy and buttery experience than Morenos though both are delicious. Their cafe con leche and expresso is also top notch.

8.9/10 GET THE CUBAN AND THE GUAVA AND CHEESE TURN OVER! My family and I love it here! The food is delicious the Cubans are CRAZY GOOD! If you have a hefty eater get 2 because the first one is going to vanish before you make it home! They’re so delicious the crusty, buttery bread, the mayo/mustard combo sauce, the tender meat inside the sandwich… I’m almost making myself hungry. They also have an amazing mini buffet and I love that I can get the beans on the side in a separate container. The sweet plantains are delicious and I love all the meats. They also have bottled and canned cold drinks and deserts.. GO AHEAD YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!

This establishment was exceptional. The Cuban sandwich was among the best I have ever had. The bread was exemplary, delicious traditional Cuban bread. The pork was incredibly tender and flavorful, easily falling apart. I took half of the sandwich with me, and even when it is cold from the refrigerator, it remains excellent.

The red beans and rice were another notable option. The menu offers numerous combinations. I opted for yellow rice and pinto beans, topped with some Frank’s Red Hot sauce, and finished the entire dish.

Additionally, I sampled a watermelon soda. It was unique but enjoyable. I am sad I do not have enough time to go back again! Next Trip!!

This is one of those GREAT hole in the wall Cuban places Tampa is famous for. Try it. Just the lunch plate or bowl will be way more than you can eat. The pork was AMAZING! The yuca had a great sauce with very flavorful red onions. Service was quick and very helpful explaining everything. It looks like just another place in a strip mall, but the food will keep you coming back!!

Place was empty nearly when I went, but the food was GOOOOOODDDDDD yall need to get the pork. The black beans go great with the Cuban bread they give you for a plate. The plate runs about $13 and change and the bowl is $11. They have a Cuban sub on their menu I need to try, and that i believe runs about $9.50

DO NOT EAT LUNCH AT THIS RESTAURANT!!! Unless you have major self control! Unfortunately, I do not and my lunch ended with me taking a nap! I basically feel into a Cuban food coma…apparently it IS a real thing. Everything looked and smelled amazing and the customer service was top notch also. The lady asked me if I wanted to try anything before I made a decision and she was very informative. If I had to say anything negative… they made the empanada too hot! They are made fresh to order and I HAD to take a bite before I left the parking lot! Sure, I did burn my mouth… but I don’t care and will do it again! 100% worth it! $24 total and that included tip. I couldn’t wait to leave a review! I can not wait to introduce my family to this establishment. Pictured: yellow rice with half black and half garbanzo beans, plantains, stew chicken (Monday special)with vegetables and in the containers are marinated pork and the rest of my empanada.
