La cruda Brand BBQ is in my opinion one of top 2 restaurants of this type in the Lake Houston area. The place is simple but roomy. The spareribs had that wonderful smoke ring, juicy and pulled off the bone cleanly and with no effort. The brisket was Smokey good and fork tender. My wife ordered a baked potato stuffed with brisket. It was huge and she enjoyed it. Neither of us could finish our meals. The sides of fried okra and green beans were not spectacular but respectably tasty. My biggest compliant was the front of restaurant’s building there is a skull logo painted against a black storefront. It is way too foreboding for a place that I found very suitable for the entire family. I thought it was a bar selling oven baked bbq. The reality is this a good choice for a bbq meal. Great place to try the entire menu. The parking is limited but they have a drive thru.

1/10/26: We tried this place and the BBQ food is pretty good here. We order some sausage, brisket, brisket corn casarole, potatoe salad. green beans, macaroni and two drinks. The potatoes salad needed seasoning. All other food was good. Something I would consider them added to there business is some spicey BBQ that could go along with there food. This spot was pretty empty that day, I feel it should have more business becuase there food is good. I would recommend this place. Please Like share and follow for more #JaysTrueRating

Not just your average BBQ joint. The owners bring innovative ideas and new menu options that are not only unique but taste amazing. Brisket Quesadilla and their smoked Boudin are my favorite!! 10 out of 10!! (Photos half the boudin link because I couldn’t wait to dig in)

First time here! Love the food came in 30 min before closing on a Sunday! Never rushed me I think owner or manager gave us some pork belly burnt ends, they were amazing! Will be coming back!

1st time here and I would return if I was in the area. Texas 2 step, brisket potatoe and brisket plate were good. Good flavored bbq and the sides were also good.

I really enjoyed La Cruda BBQ! I had the chopped brisket sandwich, the brisket and Mac egg rolls, and a side of fried Okra. Everything was delicious and smoked to perfection. The Fried okra was seasoned and crispy. I really enjoyed the brisket and Mac egg rolls. They had a nice crispy texture. The brisket sandwich was really good also. They give you a lot of meat on the sandwich, you could almost make 2 out of the amount of meat.
The customer service was top tier. The young lady who took my order in the drive thru was very patient with me as it was my first time. If you are in the Crosby area you have to check them out.

I’m going to tell you this I travel everywhere always on the road and I’m always trying different places this by far is the best brisket sandwich I’ve ever had and the Texas Twinkies perfect the jalapeno cooked perfect the bacon wasn’t under cooked love the flavor, didn’t expect the sandwich to be loaded with a lot of brisket worth the price. Really recommend coming here.. the brisket was nice and tender flavor was delicious I would definitely be going back for something else. highly recommend this place. This is going to be one of my top five places on my chart to be eating at. Keep up the great work

Some of the best barbecue in the Houston area and especially Crosby. Chopped beefed sandwich was was chopped not blended like dog food like other local places down the street. Ribs and stuffed potatoes are also on point. Thanks for adding fries to the menu. They sell until they sell out so you get fresh barbecue everyday. You will not be disappointed

One loaded baked potato, one loaded fries , and the Texas Twinkies no egg roll style. Everything flavorful and tender and big portion. Only negative comment is my fries were kinda lite on the meat but the Twinkie made up for that. If your new like me don’t try the salsa at the bar near the soda fountain . I tried the Honey Bonnets thoughts it was something sweet ,nope . Me and my girl were panting .
