Anthony was super nice!

I asked him what he loves most about La Crosta, and he said:

* quality, of course
* there are many options for any palate

Anthony does enjoy spicy, and said if you want his personal recommendation on spicy, try The Gaba Gool

Lastly, shout out to Niko [the one making the pizzas] for being nice enough to take 5 seconds away from working the oven to say hello to me.

The pizza here has got to be some of the best in all of LA. My favorites are the Gabagool, Fugazzi, and of course the Godfather. I love that they always come out hot and the ingredients are so fresh. The wings here are to die for as well. They have 3 flavors but, I love them all. The arugula salad is delicious too and they load that bad boy up. Catalina is always super sweet and helpful. The ambiance is dope if you’re looking for delicious pizza and cold beer in uptown Whittier. 10/10

Highly recommend The Godfather at this La Crosta located inside the Whittier Brewing Co ❤️ They were generous with a variety of delicious meats atop fresh ingredient sauce and crazy delicious bread I have ulcers which is a true test of a restaurant + I ate this whole pie and felt great! That means they’re using fresh ingredients only We took it home bc it was pouring rain but they have a lil jazz band on the patio on Fri/Sat around 7pm ish Grab some beer at the brewery counter nearby

I’m just going to keep it real . I was not a fan of the pizza it was over cooked to the point of burnt. The wait time was ridiculous my daughter had to go and ask multiple times what the hold up was and then we get this …my hard earned money deserves better than this at best!!! Sorry not sorry but, am here for the next person.

La Crosta serves a decent Neapolitan-style pie—thin, nicely blistered crust—and then ruins the experience by making it personal-sized and charging around twenty bucks like it’s a full meal. You can drive to downtown Fullerton and get a better, bigger-value pizza at Fuoco without feeling taken advantage of and without the attitude.

The service is the real deal-breaker. About half the online orders I’ve made haven’t been ready at the quoted time. At pickup, the front counter girl pretends you don’t exist—last visit she looked me up and down, said nothing, and turned away from the register. No “hello”, no “hi, what would you like?” Just indifference and bad attitude. The big guy (owner?) has the same hostile, “why are you here” energy. The whole place acts like selling you a $20 small pizza is some kind of favor.

If you enjoy overpaying to be made uncomfortable and feel unwelcome, congratulations—you’ve found your spot.

Excellent real Neapolitan pizza!! Maybe a tad longer in the oven to melt the cheese all the way through but still great pie Great staff! Quick pizza.
Now let’s try the Nutella dessert pie!!

This is terrific Neapolitan pizza. Most people that give poor reviews, I’m guessing, don’t know that this is closer to authentic Italian rather than American pizza. Crust is thin, chewy, perfectly charred from the wood fire; sauce has a bright tomato flavor (none of that sweet stuff so typical of American pizza); and toppings are much better quality, with actual fresh mozzarella. Their Margherita is my favorite, and my husband loves the spicy gabagool. They do have more basic options for kids like cheese or pepperoni pizza, but my toddler loves their Margherita too so we usually share. Pizzas are around $20-$25, and one can probably fill 1-2 persons. The dining hall is kid friendly and they have an outdoor patio which also has a great atmosphere.

The pizza here is absolutely fire. If you’re tired of Pizza Hut, Domino’s, and Papa John’s this is the spot to come to for some TRUE pizza.

This place is legit. I consider myself a bit of a pizza snob after all my travels, living in Italy for five years and throughout Europe for many more. And man this place took me back to my Italy days. Fresh ingredients, great pizza. It was a bit loud in the place but other than that, loved my pizza, I’m going back!
