La Crème Pastry feels like a little European escape the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the pastry displays are beautifully arranged — everything looks almost too pretty to eat. There’s a wide variety of European-style desserts, and you can tell a lot of care goes into the presentation and flavors.
It’s a lovely place to sit down with a coffee and enjoy something sweet, whether you’re meeting a friend or just treating yourself. The space has a cozy yet refined vibe that makes it feel special.
The only thing to note is that prices are a bit on the higher side. That said, the quality, detail, and overall experience help justify it if you’re looking for something more gourmet rather than everyday bakery items.
Overall, a charming spot for quality pastries and a relaxing café experience.

DELICIOUS cheesecake and cookies!! I really loved this bakery. It was a really nice surprise when I was walking around the area. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and so did my partner. They have a huge variety of items and a very beautiful interior. I didn’t try any coffee but it looked good! I’d definitely come back.

I’ve been here several times and have really enjoyed it. I usually get the eclairs. They’re quite large and a pretty good price. This afternoon I got a croissant and a chocolate clair. I ate the croissant before driving home and it was great. Tonight I began eating the eclair only to realize it was a bit stale and seemed to not have filling in it. I thought oh well it’s been sitting in my fridge for a couple hours it’s probably stale from that, no big deal so I kept eating. After two or three bites I did get to the filling part as well as a great deal of mold which seems to be throughout the entire pastry. I was eating the pastry in poor lighting which is probably why I didn’t notice initially. Kinda gross I just ate a bunch of mold.

This is such a hidden gem downriver! To quote a fellow guest “It’s like Astoria in Greektown but it actually tastes good.” I love that they’re open late, makes for a perfect after dinner stop. My only wish is for a few more vegan options.

My mom’s birthday cake turned out, gorgeous! It was exactly like the picture I provided. We went with the day and night flavor. It was chocolate and vanilla with a mix of chocolate and vanilla mousse. It was delicious and not too sweet.

I’m a little bummed out first Let’s start off how cute this bakery is . Really cute and clean inside. Freshness of the cakes and pastries not 100% on that today we bought a slice of lemon cheesecake and a s’mores cookie. The cheesecake had a taste of refrigeration that just sat too long in the fridge . The cookie was not fresh extremely stale and hard total bummer we visit a new spot in Wyandotte once a month maybe we’ll give it a try again in the future But it will be hard to recommend

I’ve never had a bad experience here. The staff is always very cordial and helpful, and the pastries are amazing. No matter the occasion, I can always find something delicious here! I haven’t had an opportunity to try their coffee yet, but I’m looking forward to it.

Visually appealing, but underwhelming is the kindest description, especially for the prices.I got a mini eclair, (tasted like perfume and disappointment) a mini lemon cheesecake bite (zest and flower bits were clearly old, tasted like a 1950s cool whip and philly cheese Good Housekeeping recipe) a mini cannoli ( nice surprise after the other 2 disappointments, light delicate pastry, perfect filling and earned one of the 2 stars) a spinach/feta pastry that was so old the filling had dried up to a weird paste, and possibly the worst chocolate croissant I’ve ever tried at a pastry shop (dry, stale, and a weird eggwash saddle that was like sulfur flavored leather on top).
Any place that is willing to sell old pastries for top dollar has an ethical short circuit that I wouldn’t risk my gut health on again.
