Also, they have a variety on the menu. The workers here are extremely dedicated and welcoming, and will explain everything to you in detail, this is the most authentic you can get to any Cuban bakery or Puerto Rican bakery in the area without going to Miami. The sea food salad had a little too much vinegar for my taste. But the Sancocho was right on point. Seating inside was very limited. Service was great, friendly and courteous. I will go again and try something else from the menu.

Food has always been great here and I like the atmosphere. I only have a suggestion and that is to move the boxes that are in the front in the lobby to an area where they are not seen. It kind of looks like a storage area and its not good for presentation. Other than that, the food is always so delicious and the bread is at another level.

I kept it simple with a Ham and Cheese and two pizza empanadas.
Bread for the ham and cheese was not crispy enough and it tasted as though they prepared it on a surface that had been recently wiped down with a soap rag (It was warm on the outside and cold on the inside.)
The empanadas,- one had no filling, AT ALL. My sister and her friend walked in to get a new one, and I could see the look of anger on the lady’s face from outside, (sorry, but not making my sister eat something that is nothing but the shell.) when they finally got the new one, the lack of filling was very disappointing. They were the only item that was actually good, and had so little inside.
As sad as I am to write this review, I can’t lie about my experience.

This place was delicious. Went there the night before and went back at lunch the next day. Got empanadas, and had the octopus empanadas. This place was fabulous. Definitely helps if you speak Spanish, but staff was great w/ English and Spanish. You go up place your order, they will give you a pager, wait til it goes off. (Be patient! They are making some delicious food, worth the wait). The empanadas were delicious, best fresh! Great sign, plenty of Puerto Ricans bringing families to eat there. Would have gone a third time if we were there longer.
