We had such a great experience at La Costera. The servers were incredibly attentive and welcoming from the start. I love a good Hispanic atmosphere—it reminds me of my mom’s kitchen—and La Costera absolutely delivered that feeling.
We ordered the shrimp cocktail on the menu (I can’t remember the exact name, but it was so good), and I asked if they could make carne asada nachos for me—and wow. They were delicious and hit every craving.
I’ll admit I’m very picky when it comes to Mexican food. I’m from California, so my standards are high—but they went above and beyond. Everything felt fresh, flavorful, and made with care.
We’ll definitely be back again. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great food, great service, and a warm, authentic vibe.

Well, this is my first time eating here, i did enjoy it very well. I had the shrimp soup and also added tilapia to it. Also had two tacos à la carte 1x Pastor & 1x Lengua the corn tortillas were rather small. But yet the taco was so packed with deliciously, flavored meat with a perfect char in my opinion, it definitely made up for the small tortilla.
Back to the soup, though the broth was phenomenal. Fish and shrimp was cooked perfectly only thing is I wish the broth would include some vegetables such as carrots and potatoes. Don’t get me wrong, The broth and fish paired great with each other and overall was very nice.
I will definitely come back. A+++

Talked to a young man, he explained that he is the author of the mural. Mexican food style is closely to Acapulco.
They got Margarita but in the box only.
I preferred catfish instead of taliapa and will be having them for lunch today.
The rice is fluffy and flavorful and excellent bean.

Family owned and absolutely worth the trip!
We stumbled upon this gem and were blown away. The food is outstanding — packed with flavor, generous portions, and clearly made with love. The shrimp dish was loaded and perfectly seasoned, and the queso-smothered chicken with veggies over rice? Unreal. And judging by the spotless plate, someone clearly loved their meal

My family & I grabbed some lunch, and the overall service was great, the waitress was attentive and recommended some great options for us to try. The atmosphere was very inviting and the restaurant staff was friendly. Definitely recommend trying this place if you’re looking for authentic Mexican food. They have mariscos but also other options such as Tacos, Flautas and traditional Mexican dishes.

Good experience overall. Would of been a 5 star but the the chips where cold. However the main dishes where fresh and delicious, big portions and full of flavor. Will definitely return. We had fajita mix and camerones a la Diabla.

The Stuffed Poblano pepper with beans, rice and flour tortllas was very good. Added a side dish of guacamole to the mix and it turned out to be a tasty addition. Our server was polite brought more tortillas and chips too when she checked back on us. This place is in line with the cost of other restarsunts of similar caliber. I wasnt too crazy about watching pro wrestling on the tele, its not my favorite, but the employees seemed to like it. Lol

This restaurant opened around the time I moved from a house one mile west of it to a house one mile east. I figured it was time to give it a visit. It was a little near closing time and on a Monday night, so I had the place to myself. When the staff realized someone was there, I got prompt service. The young lady running the place was cheerful and friendly. She got me seated, warned me the the Camarones a La Diabla was really spicy. I told her I’m a big fan of Thai food and not to worry. I enjoyed it. Five stars all around. This review will be updated as I plan on returning for more.

A family business. Mom must do most of the cooking. I ordered the Camarones a La Diabla. The young man that took my order seemed both concerned and surprised. “My mom makes it pretty hot” he warned. He followed up with “Hotter than I can eat it.” Me—”I’ll be fine, bring it on.” My wife selected the pork tamales. Chips and a little sample of very mild salsa come with the meal. The plastic bottles of real salsa are there to provide heat back up. They were great, good heat and good flavor.
The Camarones a La Diabla were tasty spicey delicious. Big shrimp and plenty of them covered in real red chili sauce, not tomato sauce. A couple of times the young man dropped by the table to see if I needed an extra glass of water. The heat level was just right. The devil was in the sauce, but I won. My wife’s pork tamales were filled with well-seasoned pork and covered with good cheesy queso. Next time get the red sauce. Beans and rice on the plate were good.
Great friendly service from the young man working today. The new restaurant is clean and comfortable. The menu covers the Mexican food spectrum, including some delicious looking soups, both green and red pozole. They have all of the Mexican bottled sodas plus diet coke and Pepsi products.
The food at La Costera is the real deal. We were the only gringos in the place.

The owners are so kind! The food is delicious and the service is prompt and efficient. I’ve had the Chicken Flautas, the Pollo Asado, the Chicken Enchiladas, the Tacos, and the Sopes. Everytime I have left with a full belly, a clean plate, and a smile on my face!
