I had breaded fish with shrimp. The food didn’t taste good the fries were raw. The shrimp had a weird taste. My husband had a shrimp soup and it was full of chile. We told the waitress and the cook got mad that her soup had never been returned before. She teen proceeded to get mad and make ugly faces and argue with my husband. No customer service at all.

Shrimp Soup didnt taste any where close to shrimp. It tasted like some sort of dried Chile! Waiter agreed but manager didnt. She claimed this had never happened and didnt want to remove it from the ticket. No customer service at all absolutely rude and obnoxious!!

Delicious food for more than reasonable prices! The restaurant walls are super cute inside too. I had the Diablitos Rancheros – bacon wrapped shrimp stuffed with jalapeno and cheese, rice, beans, and lettuce. Portion was generous for a great price, and the dish came out looking as advertised on the menu!

When you drop in at La Costenita Mexican Restaurant, and it’s on a Thursday, request their special:
Chicken Fried Fajitas, chips & cheese queso, rice, fries, and salad.
The owner, Dora Ponce, and her daughter Kaitlyn, always greet you with a smile, as well as all the staff who serve, treating their customers very well.
My waitress, Silvia, was attentive and helped me with whatever I needed, and even helped me order an extra Fajitas plate to take home to my wife.
While you enjoy eating, authentic Latino (Spanish) music is playing.

Pros: great seafood plates, great Texmex food, great in house made salsas and home made tortillas. Their coffee was very good too.
Cons: Seems dirty (I saw a small roach crawl up one of the walls), the bathroom plumbing seems strange, and the service was a bit slow at checking up on you to see if you needed anything.
Overall, it’s a great hole in the wall place to grab a bite to eat and have some great Texmex food.
I ordered the Mexican Plate and wasn’t dissatisfied. I’ve included a pic of it for reference.
