Been meaning to come out here for a while and I’m glad we finally did. Best seafood we’ve had in a while; staff was awesome, and margaritas were great (and a lot less expensive than most other places) I got the seafood pasta and it was LOADED with meat, seafood soup was too and the kids cheeseburger was huge and great as well. We will be back again for sure!

Took a small road trip and just passing by. We got hungry. My husband decided he wanted eat seafood We googled seafood placees and La Costa Seaffood Grill popped up. I looked up the reviews and decided to stop and try it out. It TURNED OUT TO E AN AMAZING PLACE !! GREAT SERVICE and SUPPER FRIENDLY’ Highly recommended.

Overall I give this place 5 stars mostly because the wait staff was really good and friendly. Music was a bit loud so it was difficult to have a conversation with my dad. We both ordered from their fried menu. Shrimp and catfish were good. However, they need to look into a binder for coating their fish/shrimp. It flaked off quite easily. But flavor was good.

We started on a good note- the crawfish was amazing. It was pricey, but good.
Unfortunately, the cleanliness was an issue. The chairs and high chairs in the establishment were dirty. I spent about five minutes cleaning everything for us and my little one.
They also posted drinks with fruit on 1/3/25 that looked like margaritas. We came in on 1/10/25 specifically for those drinks, but were told they no longer had them and hadn’t for a while. Then the server came back and said they could make one, but it would be $50 for a single drink. That didn’t make sense to me, especially since it wouldn’t include the fruit shown in the photo, so we passed.
The oysters were also disappointing and not something I would try again here.

In town for work and decided to stop somewhere new for lunch on the way back to Houston- We saw that La Costa had a 4.5 rating and thought we should try it for ourselves, and it did not disappoint! Those stars are well deserved! The food was delicious for the price point, with a serving size sure to fill you up. We also got strawberry margaritas which were balanced in their sweetness to alcohol ratio. And lastly, our waitress was simply a doll- So attentive and helpful, she made us feel right at home. I would definitely recommend trying this restaurant if you haven’t already.

When in town for my grandson’s wedding, my family and I had the pleasure to eat at this great little restaurant. I enjoyed the shrimp enchiladas with charro beans and Spanish rice. My daughter had the small bowl of shrimp soup that was so chock full of shrimp, she took half home. Others had shrimp quesadillas, enchiladas, and fried ice cream. Everything was fresh and quickly served by a very attentive waitress. Prices were fair and it was quiet enough to have conversations.

It was a Sunday with the Texans in the playoffs. It was filled, but they move fast. The food was fresh and good. The oysters were crispy outside and cooked through inside without being rubbery / tough. The pan seared Salmon was good. The tea was fresh as well.

The talipia whole fried fish was simply out of the park. Server was so nice, actually all of them were smiling and cheerful. The ambiance was very casual but clean. The food was so tasty. The best test is when you don’t need any sauce or supporting food. Then you know your food is good.
