Everybody in town was here. Lots of families enjoying dinner. We were on our way back from Dollywood and wanted Mexican Food so we stopped at La Costa Mexican.

Best Mexican food in Crossville. We recently moved here from California and was told we would not find Mexican food as good as there. Well we came pretty dang close. Actually the meal here was better then some I had in California. The rice and beans were very good. The salsa was better than most. The beef tamale was outstanding. We will be back for sure

Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 – Parrillada for Two which was part of the fajitas section but seemed to have all the different options of proteins. It is a gigantic portion! They first served a large skillet completely covered in meat ranging from chicken, pulled pork, grilled pork, steak, shrimp, and some vegetables like bell peppers and onions. Then they brought us each a plate of rice, beans, lettuce, guacamole, and sour cream. The proteins were on the saltier side but worked well with the sides.
Service: 5/5 – extremely friendly gentleman that took our order. Everyone that we encountered was friendly even though there were slight language barrier.
Ambiance: 5/5 – cozy spot that is covered with colorful decoration. The table is covered with ads from different places but it sort of fits with the theme of everything there.
Value for price: 5/5 – we were pleasantly surprised that the meal was just over $35 before tip! We had enough leftovers for almost another full meal.

Wow, the best Mexican food in town. The people were very welcoming too. Very busy place, but they do a good job with their service.

Came in 40 minutes before closing on Sunday as we traveled between Gatlinburg TN and Nashville TN
Was quite pleased with quality of the food and cost of it as well. Was greated with basket of corn chips, salsa and bean dip. Ordered 3 sets of Fajitas, one just chicken, one beef and chicken, one beef, chicken and shrimp. Tacos Al Carbon. For appetizer we had plate to share that contained ground beef and cheese nacho’s, cheese quesadillas and shredded chicken chimichangas, guac and sour cream.
Portions large enough to have second meals from it next day at work.
Didn’t need to visit restroom so I cannot say anything on that subject.
To me 5 stars

Mexican Pizza & Chicken Soup (made to order), split/ shared, tasty lunch on a cold day, hit the spot! Friendly, accommodating staff. Plan to return based on quality of both these items.

I have been craving Mexican food ever since moving here, and I’d heard good things about La Costa. My husband and I went today for lunch, and I am so happy we did! I had a ground beef Chimichanga and It was yummy. The guacamole was delicious too! I was also really impressed with the refried beans (so few restaurants get that right). Oh, and the coffee was good as well. Friendly staff, reasonable prices. Will definitely come again!

Spent $29.30 for two adults and two 9-year old boys, including drinks, and no one left hungry. Service was very friendly (although a little slow but they were somewhat busy so they get a pass on that this time), food was fresh and the tastiest Mexican I have had since moving to Crossville from out of state several months ago. They serve complimentary chips, salsa, AND bean dip. And their salsa has fresh onions AND cilantro. Lots of flavor and major bonus points!

We moved here from California. We had really great Mexican food there, for sure. When we were younger, my wife and I spent time in Ensenada, Mexico. Famous for seafood. Since moving to Crossville 5 years ago, La Costa has been our restaurant when we needed authentic Mexican cuisine. La Costa tops Ensenada with their seafood dishes! Their prices are great, and you won’t find better service anywhere. Highly recommended !!!
