Even if the service is decent and atmosphere is ok. A restaurant should have good food. Not here. I feel like I paid for food that’s been lying around for days that someone forgot about.
We ordered the fish tacos. They tasted old, super fishy, and soggy.
The oysters we received had a couple spoiled ones and they tried to cover it up with a bunch of mayonnaise.
The guac was borderline rancid.
The only decent item we received was the agauchile. Only 1 out of 5 items we ordered was edible.
I guess if you like gambling, this is the spot for you. If you win, you get decent food. If you lose you get food poisoning. Remember, the house always wins!

Great food The platter for two was enough for three but we did add the best bacon wrapped Cheese stuffed shrimp! These are a must!!!! Thee BEST! This is a very nice cozy place by the water. Little more expensive but treat yourself it’s worth it! Also Mango Margarita not too sweet or sour was perfect! Was the best of the three option’s. Owner was very nice and chatted with us while waiting for the group. Let us know about the special next door! All you can drink Tuesday! 1-6pm LoL very nice staff and if you wanted you could get the band to Serenade your table?

Great restaurant on the beach with great people and food. The atmosphere was good with music and everyone having a good time eating or being on the beach. We ordered the seafood for two and Red snapper. The red snapper was fried to perfection. The seafood for two came with shrimp prepared in three ways and oysters. The seafood for two was good but little bit too salty. We recommend as a good spot to have a fun day with good eats.

Beautiful restaurant. Food was just okay, not spectacular. I had the shrimp and was overcooked. Chocolate foam dessert was good.

Restaurant on the litteral beach shore. Nice spot and good food. Covered well to provide shade for almost all the seating areas. Main issue was the vendors… They target tourist and would constantly come by to our table side with their goods and ask if you want to purchase things. Even the SAME ones would come to oir table again after 10 mins or so, even thos we already declined and told all the others no as well, which I’m sure they see us turning EVERYONE away.. if the vendors were not there, this place would have 5-star all the way down the board.

Hired local tour company off the port from my Princess Cruise Ship at our stop at Mazatlán.
We were looking for lunch so our guide, took us to this beachside restaurant.
Clearly, location is everything because it is beachfront and next to a popular restaurant that had live pop music. Whereas this was more of a traditional feel with a mariachi band walking around playing tunes.
Now to the good part. Food. Mazatlan is known for some of the best seafood. So we were hoping to find some deliciousness. However, spending over $100 at this restaurant didn’t seem worth it. We tried octopus, and the shrimp party for 2. We barely finished half the meal. I think it was too much and barely any flavor.
It must be my mistake, the food wasn’t bad. Maybe it’s because I think this type of restaurant is targeted towards a certain demographic. (Mainly the stereotypical tourists, primarily from ethnic types who don’t usually incorporate flavor. And likes things overpriced.)
Not trying to offend, but I’m from San Diego so I guess my standards are high living in a border town.
I recommend this place if you’re looking for a vibe. But I would order simple.

I recently dined at Costa Marinera with my parents and husband , and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. My parents ordered the parrillada, which they found to be horrible, and our fries were served cold. The customer service was lacking; we didn’t have a dedicated server, and the mix of staff led to a lot of miscommunication. My friend’s fish was decent, but the salsa was bland and seemed tailored for those who prefer milder flavors. Overall, I expected more from this restaurant.

Beach front restaurant with sea view. Very nice but this is more like a tourist trap. Most of the taxi drivers will bring tourists here. Menu price is tourist price with 15% service charge.
Food price is high but with ok portion.

The restaurant sits on the beach. The views are gorgeous. The food was good. The margaritas were alright.. Not strong at all, tasted like juice. They were very busy so the service was a little slow. The restaurant itself was a vibe and decorated nicely. It has a beautiful fish tank with huge fish. Nice ambiance and friendly staff!
