The crevice and the tostas were absolutely delicious, and taste very fresh. As a nice addition, they give tortilla chips with 4 different sauces as a free starter, while waiting for the food – each of the sauces tasting very good in its own right.
Prices are very decent also (being used to US prices).
For drinks we ordered a Cucumber Martini and a Tamarrico. I absolutely loved the Cucumber Martini for its refreshing flavor on a summer day and my partner enjoyed the Tamarrico that is made with a smoky Mezcal. We also ordered an appetizer of Camarones Roca. The Camarones Roca was tasty and fresh and pairs well with the spicy mayo salsa they provide you. For our main courses we decided to split the Tuna Steak and an order of 2 Tacos Árabes de Camarón. The tacos have onion, cilantro cheese and shrimp in a flour tortilla. Honestly they were the best bite of the entire experience albeit they were a bit small for the price. The Tuna Steak was well presented attractively with a side of rice and was plated on top of some fresh vegetables. There were also caramelized onions on top. Unfortunately while the taste was on point we found the steak to be a bit more chewy than we had expected which indicated it may have been a little bit overcooked. It wasn’t so bad that we would send it back but if you decide to order this be sure to inform them not to overcook the steak.
There were plenty of servers available to help and they were prompt in clearing plates as you finished. We would definitely recommend giving this place a shot. I only mark the food down one star because of the chewiness.
To start I ordered a Carajillo and it came out wonderfully dressed with a stick of Cinnamon.
First to come out was the bowl of tortilla chips and the 6 or so different salsas. The yellow salsa was my favorite.
Next I ordered The Oysters and they were fantastic along with the chimichurri sauce.
Red Snapper tostadas came out so good.
Was still a but hungry so I ended up ordering some shrimp tacos where were ok.
Great service great experience will return.
Do not miss this place, it’s a hidden gem! Authentic, slow cooked perfection in a savory beef taco! 5 crispy corn tacos with all the toppings, and delicious soup for under $7! I will be thinking about this place for a long time. I can tell it’s a local favorite, and for very very good reason.
