One of the best cevicherias and seafood places in Mexicali. Walking distance from Hotel Lucerna, the place is open, clean, and inviting. I didn’t want to leave. Seafood is their thing, so be ready for that. I go to Mexicali almost every year, and this year, the soft shell crab taco was the tastiest single thing I had this trip. The corriente ceviche cannot be overlooked either. Highly recommend!

The food was very good, priced right. Did not like the pescado sarandiado. It was not what I expected (not traditional). It was a fillet grilled without all the rubs and vegetables. Well prepared just not what I was expecting. The restaurant is very nice and clean. Waiters are always coming to the table to check up on you. Good family atmosphere. Will be coming back next time visiting Mexicali.

Tried the Shrimp cocktail and some fried shrimp with bacon and cheese. Food was good, price is a little bit on the upside but quality is good. Definitely check it out if you are searching for fresh seafood. Try a tostada and some natural aguas frescas.

Traveled in from El Centro, CA and it was a must stop for me. I did a little research trying to find the best Pulpo (Octopus) since it was so popular in the area & this was the spot I landed at!
Most of the staff members speak mainly Spanish w/ English as a secondary language. I’ll definitely recommend having a translator of some sort, I utilized my Google Translate and hand gestures worked.
From a food/beverage standpoint, it was perfect. We ordered the Pulpo A La Brasa, which is octopus grilled and then a delicious marinade brushed on top. It was placed over some rice and halved potatoes. Would I get it again? 100%.
