La Corona is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the tri-cities area. Their beef for the beef soft tacos is seasoned to perfection.
Just had a tamal for the first time there, and I loved it.

Salsa is like tomato paste. They have no drink menu, only beer. The waitress refused to serve me because she felt my ID picture was not really me (it was taken like 3 years ago).

Went back for lunch today so I thought I’d better add some photos. I still think this is one of the best places for authentic Mexican food in the area. Service is always good and lunch is a great value! Great food!!
Please give me a “like” if my review helped.

The food was so gross. The salsa tasted like ketchup. The beef was soggy and bland. The demographic makes sense as to why the rating is 4.6 though.. at least they know how to appeal.

La Corona is our new favorite Mexican in Blountville. Just FYI, they are closed on Mondays, just like most of the other sit-down restaurants in Blountville. The food and service are great. Love the Salsa. You get your fill as the portions are huge and great for how much they charge you. Yum!!!!!!!

We were visiting the area on the way to the MLB game at Bristol Motor Speedway and chose them randomly. We were not even a little disappointed! The food was very good. Service was fast. Servers were very nice and kept drinks full. We would recommend and will return if in the area.
