Passing though Abbeville on our road trip in France we decided to to stop at this beautiful authentic French restaurant for lunch. We were three and went for the Formule, going for all three choices of starter, main and dessert so we can sample each other’s dishes. They were all typical French dishes which were very fresh and tasty. We won’t be hesitate to come again to La Corne if ever we’re in Abbeville again! Merci..

We had a beautiful meal at La Corne. I had salmon and my husband the steak and chips and we both thoroughly enjoyed our meal and experience. The service was fantastic and they were baby friendly.

My mother and son came over from England on the way to Normandie and Bretagne. Our first night in France was in Abbeville, and the Michelin Red Guide suggested La Corne, with several forks. An efficient and welcoming waitress set us up with Pineau de Charentes pour commencer, guided us through the menu, and attended to us efficiently. At our first tastes we looked at each other, nodded, and said, “Yes, we’re back in France, where they really know how to cook food.” We all three of us cherish that meal at La Corne in our memories. It was one of those quiet, unobtrusive places so common in France where they take cooking and serving seriously — classic dishes well prepared without frou-frou or pretension.

Typical French Town restaurant. Busy at lunchtime, efficient service, excellent food and great value for money. Highly recommended.

Very nice staff, excellent service. My entrecôte was delicious but sadly my wife’s duck was not quite so good (chewy and sauce overly acidic). Her starter and desert were delicious however. The quantity of duck left on my wife’s plate prompted the waitress to ask what had been wrong. I thought this was exemplary customer management. La Corne gave me a double espresso free of charge to make up for any shortcomings which was a nice touch.

A really lucky find, out looking for lunch. I had the Gambas starter and veal kidney main course, whilst my colleague had the fish. Excellent taste, well cooked.
