While staying at LA Copa for 10 days in February, my wife and I ate at the hotel bar and grill 4 or 5 times
The food was excellent(coconut shrimp, cheeseburger, fries, pizza ,and chili cheese dog) , cooked to perfection and served happily by the staff. Even better was the 50% off using the coupon they provide for online reservations of 7 days or more. Check it out next time! The only negative(and is just my opinion) that if there is a crowd it’s very noisy! The food was equal too or better than some of the islands’ fine dining establishments.

Great hole in the wall restaurant. Prices are not that bad considering many resorts raise their price cause of convenience. 2-5 happy hour and they are seconds away from the Pool. Room service offered . Taquitos fajita were good. Always serve large portions

Saw the cook/chef put mozarella sticks and burger on the to go box with his bare hands. When I pointed it out to the cashier/bartender, she just shrugged and said “aaahh”. So I told the cook/chef “shouldn’t you be wearing gloves when handling food?” Then thats when he don some gloves. I find it very unsanitary. Ended up throwing our food since I don’t trust this guy anymore.

One hour and 30 minute wait on ordered food…
Tried their place since we were out at the beach. After waiting an hour and a half I went to check on our food. Got told it was ready 15 minutes ago and that if we were upset with the wait that “you don’t have to eat it.” Ordered at 1:41 got refunded at 3:19.
Go anywhere else, and get food.

It’s weird for an Hotel to have a hole-in-the-wall restaurant. The food is cooked fresh, taste great and is decent value. I was a way choice to eat here multiple times.

My wife and I stayed for a week at La Copa and would often order the daily specials at the Cabana. We are so pleased that we met the cook Nestor who went out of his way to make us welcome and to feel comfortable. Having such a pleasant person is truly an asset for La Copa Cabana. And made or wonderful stay even better.
