Always crowded and solid menu items. The food could’ve been better for the hype but not as good as I expected. The host came out to explain the sign up system and mentioned “for every one in front of you add 3 minutes to your wait.” Then she promptly skipped us… All she had to was explain her system but when I asked I felt a little “chomped on.” Gracie, our server was good and efficient. It’s a solid 3-4 unless you want special food.

We stopped by for lunch and while it was crowded, we were able to get in fairly quickly. Many vegetarian options in the menu. We tried the butternut squash hash, vegetarian scramble and french toast.. food was delicious and the service was great. The only negative was it took a long time to get the food but the taste and service made up for the wait. Highly recommend checking out the place.

All the pastries are so delightful. I was in heaven. My favorite was peanut butter bar. My biggest regret was not buying 2 of them. The peanut butter was so rich of peanut butter. I just loved every moment of it. The staff was really friendly too!

We love visiting La Conner and Calico Cupboard is always our go to for a hearty, full brunch and/or coffee and baked goods. Was bustling even though February and very cold out, wait times minimal. Food was delicious though a bit lacking in flavor based on previous visits…they were busy, so maybe rushing to get food out quickly. Also later in the day (1 pm on Sunday), so baked goods limited. Still a favorite for us and we’ll be back soon!

Good food and food options! This time I enjoyed the NW Smoked Salmon Hash minus the cheese (no dairy free cheese option). It was scrumptious. Very tasty sugar free oat milk hazelnut latte. They would benefit with a more customer friendly sign stating “ don’t enter through the convenient open back door” for an easy quick access to the restroom from the patio. Rather than a cook roughly saying, you can’t go this way, go around the inconvenient way!

Wonderful spot for a meal along the water. Everything was perfect, service was a little slow but they were very pleasant. Just understaffed probably. We had chowder, salad and sandwich as well as the peanut butter pie! Yum! We’ll be back, forgot to pick up a sticky bun for later!

Housed in a historic building at La Conner waterfront, this is a homage to grandma cooking with a PNW twist
We have dined here a few times over the years, and most dishes are delicious without over greasy as most country style breakfast places get
Most worth mentioning is their unique style of “hashes”! I normally dislike potato dishes, but oh boy, I could clean out the big plate all by myself here!!
The huge selections of cookies and pastries can’t hurt either. They serve Flying Bird tea, a superb local choice.
Service is very warm and attentive.
Great decor, easy to find parking.

This is a very beautiful restaurant located at the end of the tourist town of La Conner. The restaurant offers outdoor seating with lakeside views, perfect for enjoying on a nice day. However, compared to the lovely ambiance, the food is rather average.

This was a lovely cafe with a cozy asthmatic. The food was very good with great fresh bread. The tuna melt was worth the visit.
The service was FANTASTIC. The server was very kind and attentive. She continuously offered and brought us extra food and other items to keep our small children content and happy, including offering an extra sandwich when one kid was causing a fuss about having to share her sandwich.

Amazing place for breakfast! We drove a little out of our way to stop here, and it did not disappoint. It was busy for a Tuesday morning!
