The chips and salsa were nothing special and neither was the food. My wife liked her rice & grilled chicken but my chicken Chimichanga was very bland. Not a lot of flavor going on here.
Service was great but it should have been since we were the only patrons.
I probably wouldn’t go back but I’m picky with my Mexican food.

Standalone restaurant with ample parking. Restaurant and bathrooms are clean and in good repair. Staff was very friendly and professional. Prices are fair. We had chimichangas and fajita nachos. Both were very good. Definitely recommend.

Ordered the Delicious Cancun, a Chimichanga, and a Burger that my kid loved. Salsa and chips are yummy. Service was wonderful. Highly recommend!

We went on a Saturday for lunch. We ordered the chimichanga, tortilla soup, and chicken enchiladas. The chips and salsa were really good. We weren’t a huge fan of the rice. It was not cooked all the way but everything else was good. We will return.

This is a wonderful little Mexican restaurant on highway 71, just north of Wickes, Arkansas. Great atmosphere, very clean and festively decorated on the inside. The service is excellent, and the food wonderful and authentic. A burrito plate was about 8 dollars, with rice and beans included. The rice is perfectly made, as are the beans, too. The beef burrito I had was excellent. Others in my party had tamales, which were big, and excellent, too, as well as enchiladas, with which the eater was very pleased. Very good sweet tea. It only took about 5 minutes for our food to show up after ordering. I highly recommend this restaurant…quite a gem.

We love the beef seasoning here! It’s so flavorful. And my wife rates their chile rellano as the best around the Mena area.

This is a great little Mexican restaurant where the owner and his wife are not only the proprietors, but the chief cook and server. It is “great” Mexican food served at a fair price, with generous portions, in the Ouachita Mountains on Highway 71 just north of a little town called Wicks, Arkansas. It is just thirty minutes from the Cossatot River Natural Area and Park. A must stop if you are in this beautiful and wild part of Arkansas.
Check out the Sea Food dishes. You won’t be disappointed.
