I ordered delivery through seamless. The driver did not make sure that the food got to me. Instead, they left it at the front of the building. I think someone stole my order. They should have called me or something. At least the restaurant gave me a refund. It looks like the left the same order in front of the building. I didn’t want a replacement. I wanted a refund

One visit but I will be back.
The chips were good, a bit on the dense side but that’s good for those like me who may need to fill up a little before your meal.
The salsa was good.
The guacamole was good.
The beef burrito without the potato was good, although some of the ingredients were on the cool side which gave the burrito a cool spot that could have been avoided. But still good nonetheless. The food was also very timely.
The server was attention, maybe ALMOST a little too attentive, but I’m sure if there were more people to serve it would be just fine. And he was pleasant as well.
The place is a bit dimly lit, a bit on the small side but on par with most Mexican restaurants I’ve been to. The red and white vinyl table cloth is a bit tacky but again something I’m used to seeing at Mexican spots. The menu is also a bit sparse but not something unexpected either.
Oh the room temperature tap water is the only bad spot of my visit. Especially taking into consideration that the tap water was the least pleasant part of the visit, I will definitely be back. Hopefully I remember to try a different dish.

Personally I think music could be more easy listening or have more variety at least (or turn down the volume so it’s not a big experience factor), especially if you understand Spanish, the same band and the same subject becomes a little annoying soon. Either way the food is worth it.

Ordered a chicken burrito via Snackpass. In my opinion, it was very small, the protein was extremely minimal, it was cold, and they didn’t include the sour cream I paid for (it was only 75¢ but still). Not impressed.

Wow!! We ate at a ton of fancy restaurants and cafes on our weekend in New Haven but this little place was my favorite by far. We had amazing tacos for lunch. Big portions and authentic food that tastes like the best of Mexico City street tacos. When we come back this is the only place I’d go out of my way to eat at again.

I really don’t know where to start. The waitress forgot my order 6 seconds after I ordered. She brought the wrong drinks because “the kitchen is too busy”, they put pineapple in burritos, the manager is “too busy” when there’s 5 people in the restaurant, they can’t split a check 2 ways, the rice tasted like instant rice…. Just please, don’t do do it, people.
