Ate the taco already so had the tostado left. Whether I got meat or beans $5 for it. Got carnesada, usually i got beans but not paying a meat price. Taco was $3. Horacha $2 for small. Nothing to write home about, couldn’t get my printed receipt for the life of me tho. She gave a hand written one. The Pic of the omelette drew me. It was a pepper one but $13, for vegetables….go figure.

La Cocina Rica has been a staple for Oxnard residents for years. After moving to Oxnard, this spot came highly recommended, so I had to check it out. It’s a small restaurant with affordable, tasty food. During my visit, I ordered the tacos de asada. The tacos are on the smaller side and not heavily loaded with meat, but they definitely pack a lot of flavor. For the price, there’s really nothing to complain about. If you’re looking for something delicious, you won’t regret stopping by.

We were passing by and this place was suggested by Google. Not impressed at all. Very limited menu and the people were not friendly at all. We ate there because we couldn’t find anything else close by. But if we knew the area, I’m sure we would have found something better.
