The Food and Drinks are always SO DELICIOUS! I’m lucky to have found this place because so many restaurants on this side of town are hit or miss. But THIS ONE hits just right every single time. I highly recommend trying the fajitas if you don’t know what to get. That is my go to! The service is phenomenal. The folks on the staff really have set up a welcoming family feeling atmosphere.

I really like going to this to La Cocina on Alexander Dr, the service is A1, today I was craving Mexican food so I decided to head there and boy was that good, The Carne asada was juicy, tender with those grilled onion on top and a very tasty jalapeño.
I always get Corn tortillas and those tortilla chips freshly fried and salsa OMG, I was in heaven.

Visited a couple of weeks ago. Food was so good. It was amazing that my meal looked liked a cardboard cutout. Taste just as good as it looked. This is my favorite dining area. The price is not exorbitant. Affordable tips too. Love it.

I had lunch here today after an absence of a few years. Happy to see that the food is still good after this time. We ordered the beef chimichanga and grande steak burrito. Both the dishes were very tasty and the portions are large.

Loved the folk art just to start…beautiful bold colors. The staff was very pleasant and quick. Food arrived very fast and was delicious. Definitely will return each time we are in town! Very affordable and quaint

The customer service is amazing! Great specials. $6 jager bombs (jagermeister) $7 large margaritas on weekends and 2.25 small margaritas Monday-Tuesday and 6.75 Micheladas.

I’ve been to both the East Garner and Cary locations four times now, so this was the first time I tried another location in Morrisville. I definitely thought they do serve a little bigger portion for lunch I thought for my shrimp fajitas than Cary did. But, SO good and food is consistent and the same deliciousness at both locations though. I have made it my go to Mexican food place now at least two times in the week when I need that big So California hug, as I heard the owners were from CA and the food is consistent with what I find in CA. There’s now no reason to go shopping around for better mexican food. I found it here finally! It’s that good and my leftovers are always gone! This is what I had leftover after eating two fajitas already so it was enough at least for three more to take home. I also LOVE their hard shell ground beef tacos, way better and quicker at lunch than taco bell ever would be!

I can see why this restaurant only has a 4.3 rating—it really deserves closer to a 3.3. The atmosphere isn’t inviting, and the staff didn’t come across as friendly or welcoming. The queso was watery, the burrito wasn’t fried well, and my favorite side dish was mushy and just plain unappetizing. When I mentioned this at checkout, the receptionist brushed it off by saying, “Sorry, they probably gave you the rice from the bottom.” What kind of response is that? I left only a $2 tip, and honestly, I barely wanted to give that. This was my first visit while in Durham, and it will definitely be my last.
