Tequila fired fajitas are the bomb. The place seems a little small but there are only was enough room for all the people coming. Help was a little slow at times but overall decent service. Would definitely eat here again.

They’ve got good food. The empanadas are a must have! Order more than one serving of you have to share. I love that they put the refried beans in a separate bowl so it’s not touching the rest of the dish.

The place inside is very interesting and relaxing. Easy to read menu along with helpful staff. I ordered a chimichanga with beef fajita inside. It was not on the menu but they made it for me and it was awesome. The rice and beans were very good too. Thanks for the good food and service. I will be back to try other items.

I had been to La Cocina in year’s past and it was time to refresh my memory. I had always so enjoyed the shredded chicken chimichanga! So I ordered this again, and my dining partner ordered the pork carnitas chimichanga. We enjoyed the complimentary tortilla chips and salsa, and also ordered some cheese dip to go with it. We ordered sides of yuca fries and fried plantains just to have a more full experience.

After reading the reviews I thought why not, sadly we were let down. I’m a firm believer that a Mexican joint that is not super clean or board line dirty usually has some of the best food. Unfortunately, that is not the case here. The place is very dirty, the service is slow, the food is not hot and drinks are far. I really had high hope for this place. Visited for a late lunch on Saturday afternoon, not busy at all. We were seated promptly, and then we waited, and waited and waited for the server to take our drink order. When he finally did come, he was very nice and pleasant, but he was not very confident with his answers of our questions. Once we got our drinks after another 5-7 mins, they finally brought out chips and Salsa. We order our meals which he contradicted him self in the recommendation. The presentation of the meal was good but it was not remotely hot, warm maybe. I believe that if the food was hot it would have been so much better. The cheese in my chimichanga was so cool after a few minutes of sitting at the table it was no longer soft. The steak favor was okay, but not cook right, almost felt steamed. Sadly, I was willing to give it another try in the future, the wife said ” absolutely not”. I guess I’m too nice.

We really loved this place ! The Authentic Mexican Decor inside , the Salsa , that comes with chips , didn’t come from a jar , we could tell that the meal was fresh made , because it wasn’t on a “super hot plate ” , if you know what I mean . The Guacamole was just chunky enough to be another indication of freshness . The staff is super friendly and we will Definitely be back !

We had a wonderful lunch with friends at La Cocina Mexican Restaurant! The service was good and the food and drinks were excellent. I had the Black bean tacos and my wife had the veggie empanadas. We especially loved the little toothpick flags! Overall great food and service! We’ll definitely be visiting La Cocina again!
