I’m not usually one to judge someone’s lifestyle decisions, but if you’re not eating here, you’re living wrong. Everything I’ve tried on this menu is a 100% certified banger. Tacos al pastor? Bomb. Pescado frito? Slaps. The tacos dorados are so delicious that the sound of your lips smacking will have your FBI agent turning down the volume on your phone. Even the slaw on the side is revelatory.

I ordered the maduros and had a spiritual awakening; I realized my true purpose in life is simply to be a vessel for the food at La Cocina de Maria. I’d definitely recommend grabbing a jugo de tamarindo while you ponder whether they’ll let you pay rent to live in the kitchen just so you can wake up to this food every day. The service is lightning-fast, and the people are so delightful they make you feel like family (if your family actually knew how to cook).

This place is so good I’m considering never cooking again. Everything is made with so much love, I’m in absolute bliss with every bite. If you’re considering it, JUST GO. Thank me later

I’m in complete awe with how amazing La Cocina de Maria turned out to be. Hybrid of Hondorian & Mexican food. I ordered a Hondorian Tamal and the dough was steamed to perfection! Never had a Pupusa before, and after trying the Queso & Chicharrón I will definitely be trying the other Pupusa’s they offer here. The Hondorian tortillas are hand made per order too & it shows the quality! The Mexican music played here is 10/10 love it all. The friendly staff really explains everything well, and with a smile! I’ll definitely be back and bring some friends!

I was referred to this place, when I was dinning in another restaurant.
This is an Honduran, salvadorian, and mexican style food. Since my first time trying this place. It’s my number one place for dinning. I have tried some others dinning places, and those don’t even come close, on flavor. I have been dinning here for more than one year, since I moved from Arizona. Definitely I recommend La cocina de Maria.

This place knows how to make a buffalo chicken pizza. The dough was great and sturdy enough to hold the large amount of toppings and It didn’t have tomato sauce, which is the way it should be. I wasn’t expecting much from a place with the word express in the name and was pleasantly surprised.

New owners new menu. No Pizza or a american food…strictly Latin dishes that are very average. Was better before where they had a blend of american and Latin. Workers look at you weird if you dont speak Spanish. Seem kind of biased to their clientele. They won’t last. If the previous owners didn’t last …they won’t either. Not with that attitude and basic food.

I am pleasantly surprised by Pizza express. I ordered for the first time tonight. The pizza was good, definitely one of the better in this area (they got the dough right!). The baked ziti was very good- sauce was seasoned well & they actually use ricotta instead of just slapping a bunch of cheese on it on top of pasta and throwing it in the oven and calling it baked ziti.
However, the meatball sub was chintzy with one meatball cut in half on each side of the hero (you guys call them subs). If they used three meatballs total and put 3 halves on each side of the hero, it would’ve made a much better impression.
Overall, I will be ordering again.
