I ordered chili relleno combination. It was delicious. The sauce with the chili relleno was especially flavorful. There was the perfect amount of cheese in the chili relleno. The restaurant was clean and casual. The service was adequate. The server was pleasant and could have been more attentive. We will come back for chili rellenos the next time we are in Palm Desert.

Small quaint Mexican restaurant that is reasonably priced and taste good. My family of 6 enjoyed all that was ordered. Chips and salsa are not free but only cost $1 for a basket. Nice atmosphere with Mexican music playing in the background. We liked the food so much, especially the flan, that we ate here once more the for dinner, and had the same experience as we did for lunch. Service was very good and attentive, like being served by a family member.

Enchiladas were very good. They came out hot and spiced just right.. rice was fluffy and spiced right. Beans were good too. Homemade guacamole was the bomb!

Came here while on vacation. I was looking for “real” Mexican food. This was the spot! Made ne feel like I was being fed by someone’s abuela. The food and atmosphere was great. I had the fried fish which I turned into fish tacos and ny daughter had the birria tacos.

The food is excellent and the atmosphere is welcoming and definitely local. We came back several times. Papacito, California burrito, chicken enchiladas, and Al pastor quesadilla are all great!

Made sure over the phone that the burritos had onions and cilantro doesn’t look like there’s any in there….
Asked for green enchiladas and they were red…
Salsa doesn’t really have flavor…

This is no five star Michelin restaurant but the food is AMAZING and the hot salsa is so good and hot! It’s unfortunate to read a review based not on food but rather not being able to use their facilities? This is a place of business not a public restroom, maybe stop at a gas station next time?
We had a chorizo and machaca burrito this visit but we’ve had other items in the past and all were . Total hole in the wall near industrial businesses but if you know anything about good food, the best are hidden away or located in sketchy parts of town. This is good Mexican street vendor or hearty home-cooking food. This is the spot if you’re hungry and just want good food.
