Went on a Wednesday at about 4:00pm and it was empty bedsides me and one other table.
It was cute inside with appropriate decor for a Hondoran restaurant and there was great music, too (though the music was a little too loud).
My server was a young lady who was quick to get to my table with the menu. I ordered horchata but they were out, so I got a Tamarindo instead. It was delicious and a huge amount!
I ended up getting two pork pupusas and they were delish! Also came with a good amount of curtido.
I’ll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!

This is a family-friendly restaurant with authentic and delicious Honduran food. My family and I go at least once a week. Seriously, it is that good!! We don’t speak Spanish, but Merlin and his family speak great English and make us feel welcome. I love the baleadas especial with beef, and it is fantastic to hear the traditional hand-working of the dough as Merlin’s wife makes each baleada order. The soups are delicious and everything I have tried has been fabulous!!! Dine-in is relaxing and take-out is fast and easy. So glad to have La Cocina De Las Catrachitas in Lynchburg!
