I came all the way from Florida, and my friend recommended this place. The experience was incredible! The manager, Ben, and the waiter, Ignacio, made the night perfect. The attention and service were excellent, and the food was spectacular. The place was very clean, and the music was varied. I will definitely come back, and I highly recommend it!

We are long time patrons of La Cocina in Clayton and have visited other locations many times as well. Benjamin at the Clayton location makes us feel like family, taking the time to greet us every time we visit. The staff is full of familiar faces who work together to make sure the food and environment are enjoyable/ memorable each and every time we choose to spend our time and money with them. Tonight we had the pleasure of having Irma as our server for the first time. Top notch! It’s easy to say we recommend, or good place to visit. Our family truly means it. This is a good, local chain that offers pretty high quality Mexi/Amer Style meals. The portions are generous and the wait staff were very attentive to your needs. The general atmosphere was clean and fresh.
The two meals we sampled were the Grilled Chicken Taco Salad & the Grilled Chicken Taco Loco Salad. They are quite generous on the meat portions, with the grilled chicken being very large (almost tender size) and plentiful. The beans & other fillings were delicious. Our only preference would have been to have a little more lettuce and other fresh vegetables.
The fried tortillas were delicious, though the Taco Loco was a little more done but it didn’t detract from the flavors.

I have been eating here for 13 years and I have never been unsatisfied. My family and I come here multiple times a week and the service is always outstanding. From the manager Ben, to the waiters and waitresses, to the hostess, and the food runners, all of the staff are super welcoming and very friendly. This restaurant truly treats each and everyone like family. Ben is an amazing manager and runs this restaurant efficiently and with heart. You can truly tell he loves and respects each one of his workers and customers. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone because it truly is the best.

We love to eat here. The food and service is fantastic. The only constructive feedback I would share is it would be great to have sound baffles in the ceiling or walls of the back room. It’s so very loud and noisy in the room you can’t hear one another and have conversation very easily. We try to avoid that room if we can. Other than that 5 stars on everything else. Great food!
